Forgot my prescription while travelling, went in the morning and put in a request to transfer my prescription for 3 tabs to avoid side effects non-controlled prescription. Was told to call back at 1pm. Waited 20 minutes on hold to be hung up on then went back in person. They told me they couldn’t get a hold of the pharmacy another shoppers but would keep trying and would text me when my prescription was ready. Now it’s the evening and I haven’t heard anything. Seems to be zero competence in the pharmacy here.
Worst pharmacy ever. I've been on hold for over 35 minutes, just to ask them to refill my prescription today not in 2 days.nnEdit: after on hold for well over an hour, they picked up without a word and just hung up immediately. Who does that? Especially at a pharmacy! This pharmacy needs their liscence revoked. I will be filing out a complaint about this and hope the employee managing the phone gets what they deserve. Thanks for wasting my time. I will be switching over my prescriptions to another pharmacy asap.nHow do you manage a pharmacy this poorly in 2025 is beyond me.
I had an amazing experience with Becca at the Shoppers Beauty Department! She was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and patient, helping me in what I needed. Truly exceptional customer service—10/10 from her!
If there was the ability to give zero stars I would. The store and the pharmacy are significantly lacking. I highly recommend going elsewhere to fill your prescriptions. The store is not much better always out of stock of sale items.nnI was lazy and didn’t switch pharmacies however pushed to the limit as it took a week for them to fill a prescription, that was in stock. Then after all that the day I called to ensure it would be ready they stated it would be ready for 5pm. Of course it was not. The technician/associate was great, not his fault. It is the management of the pharmacy. Completely disappointed … I was a customer for over 15+ years.
This Shoppers Drug Mart is OK - I dislike that all the perfume testers are in a drawer, so you need to ask the SA if they have the tester. They have an OK selection on beauty items. The parking lot is a good size, with accessible parking and the automatic doors worked. This location also has self checkout, however there was a line to use them since there were only 3 kiosks to check-out with, and only 1 cash open.nOverall I will go to the location again, but it's not my favorite one.
