Absolutely fantastic! Very friendly and helpful staff. Cabins are immaculate, clean and roomy with everything you need. The views are to die for. Watch the Cruise ships up close as they go up the Narrows. This is truly a remarkable Resort. Peaceful and Serene… OUR NEW FOUND “ HAPPY PLACE”
We stayed in a floating suite for 3 nights and it was an amazing stay! The suite was immaculately clean, and the kitchen was thoughtfully stocked with all sorts of cooking utensils and tools. The view from the floating suite is the Pacific NW at its best and we enjoyed many evenings relaxing and taking in the view.
Great RV spot, sites on the ocean. From our site we seen a Fin Whale about 80metres from shore. Cruise ships going by. Don't count on wifi even though they say they have it,very slow not reliable. Sites are a little narrow. The restaurant was good food great service. How & Kat
Had an amazing week here. If you have a boat or camper this place has it all. Spent a week here moored and in glamping tent. Great for the whole family! August long had helicopter rides, a tiki party cook out and there is a beach and kids park. Explored around Quadra island, Bute inlet and desolation sound. Whales, fishing and scenic vistas. Taylor at the dock shack is an absolute fishing pro to give you the inside info on where to go and how deep. Don't forget the 5 star restaurant with exceptional service and fine seafood cuisine. Shellfish pot is a must have!
Kids loved the glamping tent as a break from actual camping in rainy weather. The amenities common area, washrooms, spa, etc. were all well appointed and very clean. The cabins and RV sites also seemed very nice. Although there is wifi in the area, coverage was spotty in the far corners of the resort. The onsite floating restaurant food was good and service was great.Resort also had a small store with stuff you'd need open till around 6 most days.
Rented a cabin this time up. The Bear, what a great experience. The cabin is perfectly set up with everything you could need including a Webber BBQ on the deck. Quality of cabin is amazing. Care of details is amazing. And that is without talking about the view, which is AMAZING. You are right on the water with a 180 degree view of the ocean. Well done Brown's Bay.
Alrighty, so we were searching for a place to stay that was the glamping experience. We had proper beds, fridge, heat source. The glamping tent itself was awesome. It had the zip down windows so you can see outside. During our stay, every night there was a rain storm and then conveniently stopped during the day! There was a balcony facing the water so it was amazing to be able to sit there and just be. No bathrooms in the tent, but they're within a 30 second walk of the tent. The resort itself says there's wifi, but it is a little iffy, would be good with a wifi extender possibly? But without it, the resort is amazing as it is. There were many lakes nearby if someone doesn't like swimming in the ocean, easy to fish. On the property there was a restaurant and a playground for children if they got tired of Beach combing. A few tide pools right near the beach to check out and see all the starfish when the tide is out. Check in was easy, we were welcomed with a welcome package in the tent. With the welcome package, it explained how we can check out without going to the office. There are shoulder seasons and their main season. I imagine when in the middle of summer the heat and water is refreshing. My over all experience is nothing short of excellent. I will be going back. Thank you for having us!
This is a great experience 30 minutes from Campbell River, very affordable tent sites at $40/night, with wifi, hot tub and showers and great views included. If tents aren't your thing they have a selection of Glamping bungalows with decks overlooking the water.
We had a very good time and the views are breath taking. Saw dolphins and the management was really good in accommodating the request. Perfect for families with small kids, my kids are 4 and 2 and they loved the playground. Will definitely be back and such a gem.
Beautiful setting, well cared for and very clean. You can tell ownership takes pride in their investment. Moorage pricing was reasonable, food at the restaurant was good. All staff were friendly. If unfamiliar with the area, you are just above the Seymour Narrows, so expect strong surface currents at times and the flood/ebb tides make it interesting. Stayed in one of the Yurt/Glamping Tents, was fantastic.
