Campbell River Lodge by Riverside

Nice view and good place

Called ahead to book a room and was told on the phone just come by no reservation required. Showed up 1hr later and no one was around called some one on the phone and they said just wait 20-30 min and some one will come and help you. what a joke this is located in a great spot right on the river but the owners/staff left much to be desired.

From the moment I got on the bus to Campbell River, I began to relax and feel peaceful. Drivers and agents of Tofino Bus Line were helpful, courteous and excellent drivers. Dennis of Bee-Line Taxi answered my many questions like a true ambassador. At Campbell River Lodge the Reception Clerk Ian and Housekeeper Jane made sure I felt welcome and was well looked after in my lovely room overlooking Campbell River. Soon after arrival my friend came to show me the sights and all I could think of was..."why would anybody leave this place?".The sea air, the miles long beaches filled with clams for the digging, driftwood telling stories, the sound of ocean waves, the amazing weather and NO pesky mosquitos !!! Everything a body needs is close at hand and the livin" is easy here on the 50th parallel . I am so very grateful to be here. 💕 Lynda Geddes of Timmins, Northern Ontario

It's not much to look at from the front, but the room, backyard backing ontonthe Campbell River is great. We watched a beaver munch on bushes during high tide. great value for tge price

Nice and quiet hotel with a very nice view on the river where you can spot bald eagles and some seal around dawn.
