April Point Resort & Spa

One of my favourite places on Quadra - our first visit was in 2010. We stayed in one of the upstairs rooms and really enjoyed to convenience of the restaurant with its lovely views. Even when we we don't stay at April Point itself, we normally visit the restaurant at least once during our stay on Quadra. One can also take the little boat over from Painters' Lodge in Campbell River for a day visit. Sit on the deck overlooking the waters and enjoy a lovely meal, or go all the way and treat yourself or someone special to a treatment in their spa on the water's edge.

Beautiful resort, very secluded, quiet and peaceful. Our room was the 2 bedroom with pull-out bed which was great and had a wonderful view. The negative: If you're serious about fishing and are planning a multi-day guided trip, I would consider going elsewhere. The kitchen is not accommodating for early morning fishing and Larry, the Dock manager was an ignorant fella and provided zero assistance or service to our group which you would expect when spending $2500 on a couple days of fishing. Will try somewhere different next time.

What a fantastic place. We had a 2 bedroom suite, with a deck right over the water. The local seal swims around the point waiting for the fisherman's catch for dinner. Marvelous. Breakfast is included, but I found the buffet a bit disappointing. However, the coffee is great and we had it outside so we could watch the seal on the rocks

We rented the 2 bedroom house. It was beautiful and private, overlooking the ocean. We enjoyed barbecuing on our deck. Very clean. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had breakfasts included with our 2 day stay, was very good. We ate dinner one night in the restaurant. I had the curried chicken. Was delicious! The only disappointment was we were unable to book an appt in the Spa as it was so busy, our fault for not booking as soon as we got there. If you want to enjoy the Beautiful West Coast and all its views, this is the place for you! We enjoyed watching the Cruise Ship sail past the Resort.

Had a wonderful honeymoon there in one of their cabins. My only complaints regard the lack of access to wifi from the cabins as well as their dinner menu. Appreciated the complimentary breakfast, use of the water taxi, wilderness excursion, electric bikes, hot tub, and waking up to eagles in the trees and seals in the harbor. Also excellent cleaning crew, as we were there 6 days we made good use of it.
