On 06-25-2022, I decided to take my wonderful lady to get a bite to eat. We decided on this restaurant today, and glad we did. This visit was well worth the drive in. Coming through the door the first thing noticed is how everyone was in good spirits. There was a healthy crowd, a great sign of a good successful business. The staff made us feel very welcome. And then, the food. The food was brought out quickly and tasted fabulous. I'm very pleased with the way my food tasted and my sweetheart came right out and said, "we need to come back here again". I agree. We are very pleased.
The family enjoyed a nice meal here after calling ahead and reserving a table. Had we not, the wait time would have been an hour so you know people enjoy it here. The food was nicely prepared and on a busy night not too terrible of wait times. The only real complaint was trying to get and order drinks from the server but otherwise we will return here again.
Great place to meet up with friends. We stopped in for a quick bite of homemade food options. They have a great menu from healthy to comfort foods. Food was fresh the salad was great, and the meatloaf with mash potatoes was even better. The booths were spacious. The wait staff was attentive and very courteous. Lots of parking and a huge bar area.
Went at around 2pm. Not super busy, sat instantly with fast service and not a long wait for food. The Interior was clean and great decor of western style but not over done. Great kids menu not small or only the basics warm fresh soft great bread served with homemade apple butter better than Texas road house. It had a few chunks of apple in there. So good. The French onion soup was out of this world! We also got the rotisserie chicken white meat, ribs and pulled pork open sandwich. Those meats were juicy, flavorful, more than just its sauce. phenomenal!!!! We would drive to Milwaukee just for those meats. The only downfall here was the brisket which was a huge disappointment. Would definitely not recommend this as it would ruin how amazing all there other options are. The garlic mash was also nothing all that great. Also there cheesecake is only served starting at 6pm. So we could not get it. All in all If you are looking for a great bbq this is most definitely the place to go wether it’s chicken, pulled pork or ribs. Kid-friendliness: Great kids menu choices. It has a few of the basics but also some adventurous ones for them to choose from. The chicken strips came with fries and all good portion sizes.
Wonderful staff/service...very attentive & super responsive. Great comfortable atmosphere with sports on several large screens for viewing while eating. Food was well prepared & presented . Taste was outstanding. Really enjoyed as a first time guest. Will be back for seconds. Picture shown: Pretzel Chicken. Parking: Very good in capacity, availability and disabled...easy in and out...no ramps or stairs.
A unique, tasty, and awesome restaurant dining experience. Wood fired anything makes food taste much better in my opinion! Service here is top notch and the servers, bartenders and employees I encountered were all friendly and very helpful with any questions I had about the menu or drink options they offer. The chicken I highly recommend as it was so juicy and tender full of flavor! Prices are very fair with the nice size portions they give you and lots to choose from as well. Top notch restaurant, that I highly recommend stopping in and trying out!
It was a slow Thursday and I would’ve rather stayed home. Issue 1: The food we was terrible, first issue was the “sweet” like salt instead of sugar French onion soup which was an upcharge. Second issue with food was between the brisket and ribs I’m pretty sure they used an entire bottle of Sweet Baby Rays. I literally had to wipe off my brisket with paper towel since it was unpalatable. Third food issue was the steak, tell me why a ribeye came out GREY. It was tough, under seasoned and not enjoyable. We left 75% of our meal at the table. Issue 2: our waitstaff was cold and inattentive. The waitress Katy was in charge of the table and only came to it maybe 5 times. She had other tables get seated after ours and left before us, not to mention checking on them several other times without stopping at ours. When I told her about how the food had drowned in bbq sauce, her response was “ask for it on the side next time” and “it’s sweet baby rays, how do you not like it”. Overall don’t waste your time on food you could make better at home.
The service was terrible. We waited for our server to take our drink order for amost 30 mintues and we waited about an hour for our food. Our server did not bring the things we asked for so we went and asked the hostess, who provided better service than our server. All that waiting for average food.
This Place Is A Low-key Gem To Me Personally. Great FoodI Love Their BBQ & Great Drinks. Always Pretty Good Service As Well. The Misses Gets Their Aquatic Wrap Which She Says Is Very Good. I Get The Moo & Oink Which Is A 1/4 Slab Of Ribs W/ Brisket. I Always Get Double Fries As My Two Sides But There Are Options For Two Sides & A Soup Or Salad With One Potato Side As Well. Quite A Few TVs Around The Bar As Well Which Can Be Seen From Various Points In The Dining Area For Games As Well. Overall A Solid Place W/ A Nice SouthernCowboy-Ish Kind Of Experience. Definitely Recommend!
Great place for lunch or dinner. A great place to stop after a Brewers or Packers game. Our waitress Kendal was amazing. She made sure our glasses were full, our food was to our liking, and always took care of those dining in her area. Our wait time was 25 minutes before we were seated, due to being short staffed. It did not affect our service or experience. If you are in the area stop by. You won't be disappointed. If you get Kendal as your waitress you are sure to have a great dining experience! Tip your servers and enjoy the great food selections they offer!! Enjoy!!
