Been to Bricolage Bakery a couple times in the last year. Super friendly service and easy going vibe to the place. There are tons of options for something to grab and go. A number of the items you won't see in many other bakeries in the city. I think their skill lies in non-croissant items, which is why I'd shop there. The croissants are just ok. They should continue to focus on what makes them unique and special. If you're looking for something that will standout at your next picnic or potluck....stop by here.
Lovely little bakery. I got the curry bun. I really liked it! It was very tasty and it had a lot of filling. Their other baked goods like croissants and buns looked delicious too. I'll definitely come back to try them.
Delicious and fresh! Highly recommend : Almond brioche and garlic butter breads are soo good. The roll cake was amazing too. Soft and subtle flavour of raspberries. They sell out so better go early. Kind owners, great people
Wow, seems like Korean meets French pastries are way more attractive than Korean fusion savory dishes. 1. Whole wheat Bread packed with fresh figs, walnuts, cranberries, raisons… and pumpkin seeds on top. Feels like Christmas after one bite. Look at this size of figs? 2. Cream cheese, almond cream and chocolate all together in this sticky pastry. Don’t even know what kind of pastry this is. Good quality chocolate, great with cream cheese and almond cream! 3. Crunchy cookie with Onion cream cheese, basil filling. Reminds me of #parisbrest but again not sure what it is. It was a very funn snack. 4. Finally curry buns. In Korea it’s called croquet. Thin pockets packed with curry filling. So good!!! Tiny bit salty. Still excellent even when it’s cold. I should have bought 6 instead of 4. I was also looking for sweet rice red bean donut & black sesame sweet rice twist. They open at 9am and I was there at 12:15pm on Sunday, a lot of stuff were already gone. I should visit early during the week . … . .
my god some of the best baked goods we’ve ever had. hands down the best salted butter rolls and curry pan. reasonably priced for just how good everything else. go in the morning and get everything, then eat it all at once because it all tastes so good.
What looks be a simple and humble bun, it hides a very delicious curry filling and a soft puffy and yet crispy crust that wraps everything. If you arrive later in the day, you'll miss a lot of their offering. But this simple looking bun was the only one left on the counter. I'm glad we got to try this. The curry was mild in spice and flavourful with the right sweetness from the carrot. Overall, very enjoyable!
Absolutely love this place! Pastries melt in your mouth, they are so fresh and soft, and very unique!!! Everything we've tried so far has been delicious!!! Owners are the sweetest and they're always baking in the back. Prices are so reasonable. Go early because by end of day they sell out some days
The bakery is beautiful and clean with simple seating by the window side. Everything is reasonably priced with good portions and definitely worth the journey there for me. Taste is 5 stars!! Bought quite a variety and everything was so good - The walnut red bean butter baguette is deliciously balanced and the onion basil bagel is to die for, cant wait to go back!
Absolutely love the goods here! Jalapeño cheese bun is my husband fav. Mix of cheesy, jalapeno spice and has bacon! Cant go wrong. The almond brioche is light, fluffy and slightly sweet. Sister loves the potato bacon twist.
Unique flavours & generous portions. I had an onion cream cheese massive bagel and an oat latte which were both very tasty! Surprisingly spacious and cute space! Will be frequenting.
