Oh I was so excited to try this place! I rushed over before closing so I can sink my teeth into warm churros! I got 3 in total and could only eat 1, Iy wasnt necessary bad but it also wasnt anything worth raving about. All of the chocolate had sunk to the bottom of the churro into the bag. The churros itself was indeed warm but average
Always busy and worth the wait! Located just north of Dufferin Subway Station, I Love Churros is well situated for a quick grab and go delicious snack. They have premade batch of churros formed and ready to be thrown into the fryer. With batches of 3, 6, or 12, you can't help but to order quite a few churros to go. It carries well and worth eating them when it's still hot and crispy. You can order the churros plain or filled with flavours like chocolate vegan, strawberry vegan, condensed milk dairy, or dulce de leche dairy. Their churros are vegan and halal as well. It can get quite busy, but worth the wait and friendly service as well. There's limited space inside so you'll have to wait outside. Order inside and wait for pick up through the pick-up window! They also offer other items on their menu like empanadas and gorditas on the menu.
Their truck gave me 6 dry churros, all with the tip covered in sauce and the rest of it empty..and the bottoms were sealed so it wasn't for that it leaked out...not cool man. 23 bucks
I wanted to try the place for quite some time but just never got the chance for it. But finally last evening, I got an opportunity to try the churros. I went for 2 pieces for around $8, one chocolate and one caramel. They were quite average and dry. The topping was just in the top part and rest of the churros was completely empty.
This place has amazing churros, usually done on the spot. Any time you go the staff is amazing and highly recommend going if your in the area!!!
A friend today, brought churros from this place to our get together and I was blown away! Even though I ate them cooled and a bit soggy from all the sauces and chocolate they were still crispy on the edges + fluffy & soft inside; it was like heaven in my mouth, I am definitely going there and buying some for myself! I got super excited cause there aren’t many places in toronto with good churros, so there! I am going there myself soon!
I just got my churros at about 5:45 and they're fabulous but this is about the lady working the store right now. She is one of the more beautiful people I have ever seen, 100% a secret Disney princess. She was so nice too. I hope she's having a wonderful day.
I went to the store located on Dufferin street and I bought some churros to go and asked for a dolce de leche filling, but when I went to eat, half of them didn't have any filling. I called the store to ask about it, I was treated extremely poorly by the clerk, who identified himself as Petter.
I was thrilled to learn that the churros at this establishment are vegan. My 3 yr old is anaphylactic to eggs and sesame and rarely has the opportunity to try outside food. I needed to know what else is fried in the same oil as the churros so I emailed them twice and received no response. I went to the store in person and asked about cross contamination and explained that my son can't eat anything that has come in contact with eggs or sesame. They told me that the empanadas are fried in the same oil, so I asked if the empanadas have egg or sesame in them. They proceeded to tell me that the empanadas don't have dairy. Huh? So I told them that dairy was not an issue, but eggs were. Then I was told in simple terms that the emapandas don't have milk in them. Sigh. I appreciate that they have tried to be allergy conscious. But alas, I still walked away not knowing if their empanadas have egg. And no, dairy is not the same as eggs, and eggs are not the same as milk.
The strawberry and caramel fillings were delicious. Unfortunately the dough was raw inside.
