Butter and Spice

When I eat a Butter and Spice product, every bite taste like love. Marchelle's love for baking shines through every mouthful and she uses only the finest ingredients. Everything is delectable and scrumptious and Marchelle is a true master of her craft. She is also a lovely person. Some notable mentions: cornflake brownie, lavender cheesecake brownie, plaintain brownie but just try them all because everything is a hit! The menu rotates so you get to try new favorites all the time. I'm proud to support black business.

I ordered 6 cupcakes and they were beautiful and delicious! Marchelle, the owner, took my order for next-day pick up and the process was very simple. Great quality at a good price. I'll definitely be ordering again.

The brownies here are divine! I have had this place on my list to try for ages now but finally just got around to it and it didn't disappoint! Price for a brownie is a bit on the pricy side but is worth it especially to support a local woman owned businesses. Will be back for more without a doubt

Marchelle does an incredible job. She hosted a cookie decorating workshop for 40 people and everyone loved it...and her cookies aren't just beautiful, they taste amazing. Will work with her again for sure!

I was so taken with Little Portugal and being half Portuguese really helped. It's so hard to find authentic Portuguese food that is amazing and at the same time reminds me of my Portuguese grandmother who loved to make Portuguese dishes passed down from generation to generation. Butter and Spice had me at hello!

Ordered a 4 pack of their brownies after discovering them on Tiktok! Loved the earl grey crème brûlée and candy cane. Smooth pickup and kind employees. Will definitely come again!

Went there and charged me 20% more???? I asked why and it said it was because I was a man. I have been a part of the Transgender community for two years now and the audacity for them to discriminate against me! I reluctantly paid and the food was amazing 10/10 if you are a woman 0/10 if you are any other gender in the LGBTQIA2SL+ community

The best brownies! I took them to a potluck on the weekend and they were such a favourite. Even better, I found out about Butter & Spice because they support local initiatives that uplift people who have faced inequality and marginalization in Toronto/ Ontario!!

They charge male customer more based on their gender. Inequality and discrimination at its best. Wage gap does not exist, wake up from your dreams
