I had a great experience! The service manager Shawn was super helpful, Paul was super sweet and helpful as well as the mechanic Steve who worked on my car. Will definitely be returning for any future issues!
Never again. Basically harvested my catalytic converter, replaced it, still didn't fix the problem. Booked an appointment to get new O2 sensor, get there and they didn't order the parts. Worker at desk tells me the price is $60 and $80. Go to pay, nope, they now are charging $250. And if they install them, another $280.
Really happy with our purchase of a new GMC Terrain, from Carter. He first showed us the vehicle and took us for a test ride, and sold us on the purchase. He has been in contact since the purchase and I'm very pleased with the professionalism and friendliness> If you need a car, go see him and his colleagues.
Special thanks to Troy, Brandon and the rest of the staff at Steele GMC Saint John! They got me into a vehicle I really wanted, rather than try to sell me something I was less interested in. I'll definitely visit them first when I'm shopping for a car - but that will be in a while, because I got something safe and reliable that will last me a long time.
Unpleasant experience to say the least I was taking on a ride but that only happens once . I showed up on one day to have a diag performed on my vehicle because I had an extended start issue that's where the starter keeps turning over the engine doesn't start turn the key off turn it back on the engine starts I have a mechanic's background I suggested to the tech advisor first before he goes deeper ,this wasn't done everything but and not even was done except what I had asked I'm the one paying the bill not them but they chose another route which cost me 3 hours and still no solution. At which point I had to take my vehicle because of the previous engagement that had to be kept. Two days later I called to reschedule for the same thing the technician at the time took about 20 minutes and told me what the problem was which was one of the issues that I asked to be looked at in the first place this was a common issue procedure back in 2010 and 11 and 12 to look but they did not they milked me for 3 hours on that one and 1 hour for the second diag which only took 20 minutes they proceeded to give me the parts cost and the insulation the total bill was $2,400 to install and provide the parts which was a fuel pump OEM, by the way is $549 they charged me $923 OEM. I needed my vehicle so I told them to go ahead I figured that they were nice enough to give me one hour off the full Bill price .But then made that back by way of overcharging and telling me that there was a rusted bolt that took 1 hour on a strap that holds a gas tank to get off. Who are they kidding,it only required an impact to over tighten it and it snaps then it's done they charged me an hour. Making an appointment with these people is something else why do people make appointments to allow for a slot time for them to come in and be serviced ,not here, they'll tell you to come in at 8:00 and then service your vehicle at 11:00 are they for real what is the point of creating an appointment not considering the customers agenda at al they just want to be overbooked and not care about the inconveniencing it creates with the client. The only reason why I gave them a star is because you have to put at least one star to something in writing. I won't return to that place ,it's amazing that they still have a client base however 1 by 1 that will change Iam certain
