My favourite park in the city tied with Prince's Island! It's very pretty and a great place to come for a picnic, BBQ, with a boat, or just to hangout near the Bow river. I run here and it's always nice to see people having fun and existing.nnGreat place for kids too, as there's plenty of playground areas, and even a little train for them to ride!
A park where you can experience a splendid summer. Despite recent issues, it's still a beautiful neighborhood. If I lived here, I would be so happy. I should come back for a barbecue later. Walking along the quiet paths, it felt like happiness would stay by my side forever. It's a great place to enjoy the leisure of everyday life. It has a different atmosphere from Bow River.
Bowness Park is an absolutely beautiful and atmospheric place! The nature here is amazing, with lots of geese adding to the peaceful ambiance. It's the perfect spot to spend your time, whether you're looking to relax or enjoy a stroll. Highly recommend for anyone looking to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.
The park is beautiful and has something to offer in all seasons. Splash pad and boating in the summer, beautiful scenery in the fall, skating in the winter and a nice location for a spring bbq. During peak times and seasons parking can be a bit tricky to find so plan accordingly.
Bowness Park is a fantastic destination year-round! During the summer months May to October, it's bustling with activity. The park is expansive with ample picnic sites and BBQ facilities, perfect for gatherings with family and friends. The Bow River flowing by offers serene views and a calming ambiance. The availability of running washrooms during this season is a great convenience. Overall, a lovely spot for enjoying nature and outdoor activities in Calgary! Highly recommended.
