Bowens Tavern

My family and I have been coming to Bowens Tavern for years. The breakfast is wonderful as well as all of the meals. The staff is always friendly and it's a very relaxed atmosphere in the morning. The owners Mike and Bridget always make you feel welcome.

I left had not knowingly left a considerable amount of cash on the bar after a nice meal and a couple of brews tonight. On arriving home I realized what had happened. I made a call to Bowens and asked them if any person had reported finding my money. Thirty minutes later my wife had received a call that the money I left at the bar was reported found by the bar tender. The honesty of these workers is far beyond what you would expect in this day and age. I cannot thank them enough.

Great place to stop in and get a breakfast our dinner with the family. And at night it's a Rollercoaster. Busy sometimes it's jamming other night maybe ten people

Good food, nice people, but the best thing is Norman bringing the coffee pot around. He will see to it that your cup is never empty.

For breakfast, very good and an older gentleman never lets your coffee get low. Have gone for lunch/dinner a few times and it was excellent. Last Saturday we went and were very happy to learn they have live music from 3 - 6 on Saturday. The guy was great. Will be returning!
