Waitress was very attentive and food was somewhat tasty yet seemed to all have similar ingredients. I had purchased coupons on Groupon (I paid $40 for 2 vouchers with a value of $40 each) and was not allowed to use both. I had called the owner previously to making the reservation to ensure that my husband and I could each use a coupon and was assured it would be no problem.....however it was a problem. The coupon specifically states “more than one deal voucher can be used per visit”. It was a very disappointing evening and I will not return. If you are not going to honor the vouchers or you do not understand what you are offering by way of the voucher then you should not offer them.

We expected fine dining and were met with diner type service. Actually most diners do better. The food was mediocre and though there were 4 (courses) for $40 each person it was worth perhaps $15. The appetizer was pretty good. 2 small chunks of sweet potato and two small chunks of plantain in a sauce. The salad was brought in one bowl for the 4 of us and was like a chef's salad not a dinner salad. The main course for me was a small chicken thigh on a bed of white rice with non flavorful peanut sauce barely covering it. Dessert was 1/4 inch of tapioca in a bowl with a scoop of ice cream. None of our party of 4 we're pleased with the food, service, or cost. Hopefully improvements and MUCH lowered prices will happen.

If you need nourishment, real nourishment, make a reservation here. The food and atmosphere are to be appreciated for the love and warmth and time that goes into each meal. If you're in a rush, go elsewhere. If not, you can expect to come away feeling fortified from head to toe.

We had an excellent meal here in fall of 2017. Great place to go when you want a dining experience, and not just dinner. Also good for friends to get together and maybe a date night.

Such great food. Very unique and the flavors were incredible. The owner is fantastic at providing guests with attention and one-of-kind service.
