Boomerang Kids Kanata

Monday morning I purchased a pair of shoes from Boomerang Kids and was very happy with my experience. The shoe racks were very neat and well organized. The prices were very reasonable. The staff was also very friendly and helpful in assisting me with finding the right fit for my child. The shoes we purchased were in excellent condition and my child has been wearing them daily without any issues.

I was trying to support a local business, but it backfired. I needed a certain last minute item for my son for a concert for school. Asked staff when they reduce down their items to 50% off. Staff said if the item has been sitting in the store for 8 weeks. I brought up 2 items, that has been sitting in the store since august. They wouldn’t reduce it because the items that I selected has been “rotate back in”. One item was a red sweater, Fila but nothing special $17.99. Other items was pair of Walmart black pants George for $12.99. I left the items. Found the EXACT same sweater at value village for $5.99. and pair of brand new black pants at Winners for $9.99

Just want to start with I don’t know how this store is getting such poor reviews. I started consigning a couple years ago with boomerang kanata and it’s been a great experience! When I need something for one of my children the staff are right there to help you find what you need. Items are priced fairly and the clothes and items in the store are looked over to make sure they are in the best of quality before hitting the floor. The owner and staff are always working as a team to make the location the best it can be. If you need something specific they do their best to find it within the store. Please disregard the poor reviews left for these hard working people and an amazing store.

Terrible customer service! Be aware: left my clothes to sell but they donated it. It’s okay to donate but they should at least communicate it. Avoid this place! Everything is over priced! Better buy new stuff!

I have been shopping here for years! I was able to outfit each of my teens with outerwear from here. Columbia jackets

My wife shopped here 2 days ago and accidentally bought our son a book he already had. She tried to exchange the book the next day and was accused of stealing the book and was humiliated in front of many other customers. She wasn’t allowed to leave the store with her property. Unbelievably terrible customer service.

Great selection and every time I come in they have different products. Great for snow suits and toys/games. Plus, they always have a sale going on! Great if you are consigning as well - my things have always moved quickly.

Today was my first time in any Boomerang Kids Store. The automatic door button was broken, 3 ladies were working & I wasn’t greeted or spoken to until I went to the cash. All of them talking amongst themselves. Other customers came in and no one else was greeted. The store was not really stroller friendly, tight aisles, lots of toys on floor I had to move to navigate around. Found the selection good and their prices much better than stores like Value Village. When I went to the cash the youngest employee asked in a very quiet voice if I was a member. I said no this is my first time here. She didn’t explain or ask if I wanted membership. I was ready to get out of their so I did not inquire. She seemed scared to talk to customers. I will give this store location another try but will come alone. For a kids store they don’t make it welcoming or easy to shop with your kids.
