Story

At The Bone and Biscuit Co. Cloverdale, we offer diet and nutrition counselling for many common health concerns that are common in our pets. Nutrition is the foundation for good health and it is important for pet owners to be informed and have access to the tools that can make the difference in the well-being and longevity of their furry family members. With over 17 years experience in raw feeding and supplementation for a myriad of common ailments, we can help to educate and support the pet parents of our community and work towards healthier, happier and more carefree times spent with our fur-kids.

I find the staff incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. And so friendly! I'm impressed with their selection of healthy foods and remedies. With their help and advice we switched our pets over to raw food, and it's made a huge difference in their health. I've noticed that the store does a lot of fundraising for pet charities. Overall, a great place to shop.

This store is excellent and they have such a great selection of products, including pet beds, carriers, dog coats, treats and kibble. This store even has a little bakery at the front of it for fun treats for your puppies. I come into the store to buy the lamb tripe by K-9 Naturals, as its really hard to find. I like that not only do they carry it, but they are a local small business who supports animal rescue as well. Highly recommend!! The staff are also very friendly and helpful in this store!

Very knowledgeable staff, genuinely care about the quality of food and treats that go into our pups. Highly recommend for visits and education on improving nutritional intake!

Specifically their selection of Raw is larger than other pet stores such as Bosleys. Not only that but the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable and unlike other pet stores mentioned above when you have questions or you simply would like to explore other feeding/natural supplement options; like we did with going RAW because of our furbabys condition (Hermangiosarcoma - Cancer) and under the recommendation of our holistic vet, the staff will take the time to help educate you on the different avenues you could take and why. There's also a section with stuff like Recovery, Phytosynergy (Phytoplankton, minerals, Amino acids and Omega 3's) powder which is what we purchased and were recommended by our holistic vet, healthy gut probiotics, and other natural supplements. Some of the Raw brands they carry are 3P, Red dog Blue kat, Carnivora (based out of Saskatoon), Natures premium (apparently the Mercedes of Raw dog food and Alberta based), iRAWsistible, Legacy pet foods (Edmonton based), Pets Go Raw (manufactured is Cranbrook B.C) amongst many others. They also have a rewards system, so if you're currently a regular at a different pet store and don't want to leave due to the fact they have a reward system don't worry because Bone & Biscuit has one as well called Biscuit bucks, for every dollar spent you get 1 point and once you have 500 points you get 10% off applied onto your next purchase. They also have the standard reward system of Buy 12 bags of Kibble and get the 13th one Free! A New location will be opening soon in Willoughby as well, which will be perfect for us and our pooch because we are located around Walnut Grove.
