Most terrible experience given the circumstances. Long post but worth the read. I adopted a kitten from C.A.R.E.S at PetSmart. Her home transition was shaky but it turned out positive. Even though my kitten, now newly adult cat came around she is still very feral and has limitations. I took her to the groomers to get her nails trimmed once with a positive result however, the second time was nearly life changing. The groomers couldn’t get my cat out of the cage because she was so scared. My cat scratched at the groomer to defend herself. The groomer was amazing at first and asked for a second person to help instead of turning me away. Within seconds this positive experience turned negative when the groomer dumped my cat out of the carrier. My cat freaked out and ran. There were dogs being groomed and a customer inside. She tried to find a place to go and hide. I had to catch my cat in the grooming station. I ended up getting scratched in the face so close to my eye that any closer she would have deeply scratched my cornea. My cat was so scared that she peed herself and I have a black eye from the incident. Very unique circumstances I’m sure and all of which could have been avoided. I took my cat to the vet for a check up just Incase. They cut her nails without a problem. My post is not to shame anyone but to perhaps let other feral cat owners know that this grooming location is not the best for our cats unique needs.

I came in looking for boots for my dog I walked out with boots and a rain jacket both were good prices and had a good selection. Kim I believe she was a manager was absolutely terrific and extremely knowledgeable on helping us. And was Pleasant and fun to talk to.

I come here often for crickets and frozen mice for my reptiles. The mice are pricey but are killed humanely, which is attractive to me as a buyer. Never had an issue with the crickets or the frozen feeder mice. My father-in-law has bought many fish from them for his freshwater tank, and all of them are still around. They were in good health when he bought them, and are still in good health now. I've bought two reptiles from these guys (scandalous, I know. The ball python I bought was pricey for a normal morph, but I fell in love anyways.) I checked them prior to purchasing and found them to be in good health. The woman that assisted me with my ball python purchase was very knowledgeable. My ball python is still in great health and has been an amazing feeder. However, a long time ago I asked about different diets for my store-bought leopard gecko and was recommended by an employee to put him on a diet of JUST meal worms. Being young and inexperienced with reptiles I took their advice. This drove my leopard gecko to starvation, and it nearly killed him. Although that was a one-time experience, I'd recommend asking elsewhere when needing advice for reptiles, whether it is about their health, or their feeding habits. At the very least, get a second opinion.

We were told there was a Valentine’s day party happening and there would be free treats and a kiss cam and special offers. We got there and there was a little table with treats (that you had to pay for) and some other things, which also were needed to be paid for. We asked where the free treats and kiss cam were and they said they were only doing it in the states and that we should go down to Bellingham which is a few hour drive. They had a sign out earlier in the week saying they would have all the same things! So disappointing!!
