Blue Toque Gastro Diner

We really enjoyed our breakfast here. Food was great. Over medium eggs were cooked perfectly which is hard to find. Pancakes weren’t the super fluffy type that I personally like better but they were still very good. Service was very friendly. We’ll be back our next time through. Also the compote spread was fun to try and quite good over just a usual jam.

This is the number one breakfast place in town. I have beeen going here for years and never have been disappointed! I highly recommend showing up at 9:00 AM when they open or else you will end up waiting because the restaurant fills up quickly! This isn’t fast food, it’s all home made with fresh ingredients, order a nice coffee and enjoy your time with friends, the wait for breakfast or brunch is WELL worth it!

My boyfriend and I needed a place to eat after having a lazy morning in bed, and the laid-back atmosphere here was perfect. The food was delicipus, our order came out quick and we were both very happy with what we had. The server was very friendly and chill. We felt very comfortable and will definitely eat here again the next time we’re in Fernie

Go a few blocks off the highway when you are passing through Fernie to discover this hidden gem in the old train station. The chef here is on a completely different level of cooking from anywhere you will find in this country. It's unbelievable. Value beyond price, and the price is on par with anywhere else you may go. I plan my vacations around hidden gems like this and it ranks #1 so far in Canada! I cannot recommend this place enough.
