Blak's Bakery

Blank’s pastries are sold at different stores across the city. I’ve been meaning to go directly to the bakery itself, which we were able to do today! Worth the trip! A lot of pastries to choose from and I was able to get my oatmeal bars that I’ve been buying elsewhere. We for there late on a Sunday, as can be expected, shelves weren’t completely stock. Which makes sense, you don’t want day old bread:- Will try to make the trip again to restock our desserts, but will shoot for a day during the week.

They did not disappoint!! We were visiting my fiancé's family, and he was raving about Blak's, saying we had to stop by! So we did, and omg.. Everything was delicious. Will definitely be going back next time we are in town!!

Overall, some decent quality items. Enjoyed the brioche buns, strudels and a few other small items. GREAT pricing and they take debit. It seems that they do not continue making bread into the afternoon, so as they say here, early bird gets the worm. No really, If you go in the midday, there will be crumbs left. Just a few buns.

Outstanding bakery that has been serving Windsor for over 100 years. Great selection of regular and specialty breads as well as delicious pastries make fresh daily. A+++

I love Blak's Bakery and have been going there since the 90's... Everything is yummy and always good, maybe too good? Packi's are the best I won't get them anywhere else, why would you! ... recently I was helped by Skylar and she was very sweet just like a danish she might have talked me into buying more than usual but please, twist my arm!!

Stopped at Blak's Bakery today and picked up some Paczki which I had ordered ahead of time for myself and family members. There was a line up of people waiting to get some Paczki's but if you never ordered ahead of time you couldn't get any until noon when walk ins were welcomed. I ordered Custard and Strawberry with the Sugar Glaze on them instead of White Powder and they were excellent, the best in this city.

Great bread. Always fresh. Super local place. Owner is VERY unfriendly. Got the sense it was a race thing. My skin color wasn’t to her liking. She wouldn’t help me or acknowledge me, in fact, she skipped over me and helped a tall white man behind me.

I've been looking for authentic paczki in the Detroit/Windsor area since a trip to Poland in the summer of 2022. I heard about this place on the radio and decided to check it out today. The paczki were DELICIOUS! I've been telling family members about how good they are. I will definitely be coming back.

Friendly staff and great selection. Recommend the cronuts and bagels, but be sure to go early as they sell out FAST. The breads are always fresh, the best is the marbled rye, and the have a sale rack with 25% discounted items that are a day-old. A Windsor staple.

Yeaa, not what I was expecting at all. I ordered a whole Borek and 6 hot cross buns, the buns we simply okay and the boreķ was in pieces, under cooked and tasted like rubber crayons. Very very disappointing . Sorry Blaks but not good at all and for a order that I specifically called in looks like a order that was on the shelf ready to sell in pieces. I gave the extra star for the generic hot cross buns. Extremely disappointed and will never order from here again.
