La Contessa Ristorante

First time at this restaurant and I have to say I was very impressed with the overall experience. Great staff friendly, courteous, had good jokes More importantly though, my server was constantly making sure we had service throughout the meal. They have a great menu and appropriate portion size for the price! The Arancini is a must have for appetizer Of course they offer a wide selection of drinks from wines to beers. I highly recommend you give this Lovely sit down restaurant a shot! Maybe of espresso or their bottles on tap

We had a special event at La Contessa with our closest family and friends. The staff, service, and food was nothing short of exceptional. From the planning process, Darlene helped me pick out the menu that works best for the event. The day of- Darlene and Vito helped set up and take down. The food & experience, just amazing. Classic Italian Restaurant Food Is Traditional & Delicious. Staff Are Friendly, Attentive & Professional. Atmosphere Is Classic White Linen Dining.

Had dinner this week at La Contessa. We had a reservation 5 of us for 6pm and were home by 7:30. There were 6 other tables there during the same time. I had the chicken parm and was so stuffed . Our server was awesome and the chef even stopped by the table to see how everything was. I'll be going back for sure! 10/10

Ran into this place by accident when some other lunch plans fell through. Wasn't disappointed, food was fresh and delicious. Beautiful drink and menu options. They also had gluten free options, just best to ask the wait staff before ordering.

Fine dining in a classy cozy atmosphere. I had the veal, it was amazing along with warm bread, dipping sauce and salad all included. The calamari was fantastic. If you are looking for a great place from start to finish I recommend La Contessa

The food was mediocre. Their Truffle Fries are OBVIOUSLY not "steak cut" and are straight cut store bought fries with barely any truffle or parmesan. The arancini wasn't great either. If it weren't for the sauce, it would've just been balls of deep fried white rice. When you cut into them, they're literally just white. Their Caesar salads are definitely not anything to write home about either. Very watery, lemony dressing with bacon bits. Not even sure if real bacon was used. The service wasn't good either. We waited over an hour for our food. We saw the waiter for the table behind us more then we saw our own. When we did see them, there was no apology for the wait. For a Saturday on Erie Street it wasn't too busy either. They were also out of, what I'm assuming is, one of their most popular menu items. That would have been fine, if we were told about that at the beginning of the evening rather then looking forward to it only to be told upon ordering that they're out. I would not recommend this place. The drinks were good though

Ordered Chicken Parm for takeout yesterday and was so impressed. Not only was the meal delicious and a VERY generous serving, but the entire staff welcomed us, even though we were grabbing it to go. The rooms were set up nicely and the whole place was very clean. Can't wait to return!Food: 5/5

Service and staff were nice and standard. The food was horrible, left me with a disgusting taste in the mouth over cooked lamb, sparse soggy not fresh salad, overly salted pasta The flatwear, table and dishes were scratched and wonk. One of the dishes had a dry crusted bit of food stuck there barely visible. Spent 100$… if I could spend 200$ to erase the memory I would.

HORRIBLE!!! The new owners have taken a great restaurant and made it cheap! My family and I went there and we all got something different. The arancini balls had no taste and were bland and they was the best part of the meal!!! The spaghetti sauce taste lime it is out of a can. The shrimp is frozen grocery store quality with the shells on. The carbonara was in a pool of liquid butter and water. Nothing had any taste or flavour. If the waitress asked us one more time to upgrade to a Caesar salad I would have smacked her! The food is horrible!!! The staff is rude and glorified. Go anywhere else but here! I should have known better as there was almost no on in the restaurant when Mezzo, Spagos and Nico were jammed packed. This place won't be around Ling and thank goodness!!!!!
