Best pita in the city- so fresh, great flavour, perfect texture. The Food Basics at University Plaza sells them with the rotisserie chickens. I like to pick up both and add some toum and veg for a delicious, easy dinner.
They have a kind of flat bread which is very soft and fresh. I actually buy them from Food Basics, but when they are not available there I go to the bakery itself, they offer the same price as Food Basics. In terms of customer service, they lack respect, and unfortunately I felt they behave racist.
Francis bakery makes the best tasting pita bread in Windsor; if you're looking for the thin delicious Syrian-Lebanese style pita, this is the place that makes it. They were the first bakery to make pita bread in 1978 and the decades in business is reflected in the quality of their pita bread.
Nice & warm owners, but not much variety on the menu. Food didn't taste fresh off the oven. Several better middle eastern options in the area.
is the bakery closed down? Phone number not in service, website says you're open
