Took my kids here for some fun daddy daughter time. I drive by here all the time and am kicking myself for not going more. The prices are inexpensive and I get to support small business and have fun doing so. If you're not a bowler there's a full arcade, suite of pinball machines that's super fun. Such a great local business. Stop by, you'll have fun and not break the bank doing so.
We love Blainebrook. Food is good nice updated lanes. But need new balls. Hard to get lane if go late.
I haven't played pinball for a while and it was definitely a change to get the chance to do that once again with my dad. I was surprised that when we entered the building this time, it did not smell terrible as it had a few weeks prior. I also had the chance to pay some crane games and as much as those games cheat or are rigged, I still find it challenging to see if I can win. Someday, I would like to go bowling here as well.
Had a nice double birthday bowling party here this weekend. Very inexpensive in comparison to all other bowling alley’s in the area with great lanes and seating! Our server was great, but unfortunately it took a lot longer for some of the kids food to come out even after bowling for over an hours while waiting. The adult’s pizza was excellent, the kids pizza’s were a bit too doughy for most of the kids who were attending. There wasn’t much going on there during the time we were there so we don’t feel like anything else was holding back the kitchen from having our food done on time. But overall we will be going back. Our kids loved the experience, their pricing is excellent, and their lanes are great!
Cool bowling alley. It was league night and we had to wait 30 minutes for a lane but it wasn't too long of a wait. Their food is scrumptious but their pizza wasn't that great. Family friendly environment with an arcade area and pool table in the back. Service was okay, doesn't seem too friendly but still got the job done...
I haven't been to Blainbrook for about 7 years and we thought we would try it again! We had a group of 4 and on their website they have open lanes on Saturdays from 12pm to 5pm. We arrived at 12. The people that worked the desk were very unorganized! Their was a woman with a child in front of me "in line" and she was getting frustrated just as I was. If your one of their "regulars" apparently you don't need to stand in line because their was a few that just walked up to the desk and the person would stop helping the customer to help them. After standing in line for 10 minutes, I was finally told the wait would be about 30 minutes even though there were open lanes we agreed to wait and gave the front desk my name. I asked how we could order food, but he said someone would help us, but wasn't sure who. I just went to bar and asked for a menu. About 10 minutes passed and the guy at the front desk said the lane was available and told me lane 1. We went to lane 1 - sat there for 10 minutes trying to start the game, but it wouldn't start, so I had to go back up to the desk and stand "in line" again and then I was told I had to prepay. Why wasn't I told this at the time of telling me the lane was ready?! I paid for 2 games for 4 people, it was about $45. I asked again, how we could order food and drinks. He said he would send our waiter to us. We played 1 game and no one showed up... I eventually found a server after walking around the whole place and she was very nice and said she would send our waiter, Travis. About 2 minutes later, he arrived and took our order. Food arrived about a half hour later, we all had the chicken strip basket. The food was really good, that was the reason for at least 2 stars. The waiter came back probably every 10 minutes to make sure we were taken care of, but we had people coming over to our lane to grab the ball ramps for kids. That should be placed somewhere else because we had random people coming over and lifting the ramps over our food. They have no tables at Lane 1 either. We finished our 2nd game and left. Even though the lanes have been updated and large arcade - the service at the front desk was horrible and after reading other reviews, I'm not the only person who thinks that needs to improved! I wish I would of asked for his name, but he was older and had a bright orange shirt on. I recommend him doing more training on how to treat customers.
I really enjoy going here. They are inexpensive and always seem to have lanes open. My favorite part is the 40+ pinball games they have. From old school to brand new ones!
Lanes are cheep and food is good! I love coming here but you might want to get your own ball and shoes if your going more then once. The ally's balls and shoes are "well loved"
Blainebrook is awesome! The arcade is top-notch, one of the best pinball experiences around. Dozens of machines, many other arcade games choices, bowling, great service and the food is excellent!
I tend to feel like I’m making the employees mad just by needing service. As a server of a busy restaurant, I understand the feeling but I also know being rude doesn’t help anything. I’ve only felt welcomed by Misti. All others I’ve experienced kinda seem to blow you off. I ordered a BLT, which took an hour until reminding the server then it came about 10 mins later. Then, I ordered a basket of fries for the table & they never came after waiting again, but still showed on the bill.
