Honestly, the best animal hospital on planet earth. The staff are so friendly and very intelligent in assessing health and wellness for the animals. This mindset has helped me save on expensive treatments. My kitten Jasmine was in severe condition, and they have treated her to full health. I am so grateful to have Blackburn Animal Hospital as my family doctor for all my cats. The doctors and management are loving, always put smile on your face and genuinely care. Thank you‍
The staff at this location were AMAZING - they took me and my dog in on a emergency appointment right before closing on New Years eve. My dog had developed a lymph infection over less than a day and a half and was in desperate need of antibiotics. They were SO good with him, taking the time and care to deal with a particularly difficult dog couldn't be muzzled as his snout was swollen/in pain , giving him some pain medication to be able to eat and sleep, and he's on two weeks of antibiotics. He's feeling so much better already and almost back to normal : Thank you so much!!
A great vet! I have been to two other vets since moving to Ottawa from Toronto, and both of them tried to gouge me on costs. The staff at Blackburn Animal Hospital are friendly, courteous and generally care about the health and well being of the animal. My dog Holly had a tumour removed from her eyelid, and she is doing better than ever now! They charged me half the cost of other vets in the area. I would definitely recommend going here!
I will 100% recommend this vet to anyone who has a pet. People are patient to explain everything that you don’t know. They take care for your animal very well. They truly love animals. Doctors are very professional.
I was extremely impressed with the level of care and professionalism provided by the staff. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with friendly smiles and a warm welcome. The clinic itself is clean, modern and well-equipped, providing the best possible care for my dog. During the appointment, the veterinarian took the time to explain every aspect of my dog’s health and answered all of my questions with patience and understanding. They went above and beyond to ensure that all of my concerns were addressed and that I was completely satisfied with expectations. I will definitely be returning for all of my dog’s future health needs.
Absolutely the best vet I’ve ever been to. Everyone from the front desk to the vet tech and the doctor was absolutely amazing. From the moment I called I knew I made a good decision going to this vet. They got me in the next day for a consultation and emergency ultrasound. Everyone was very warm, helpful and informative. My dog ended up needing bladder stone removal as well as a spay, she is an older dog and they took amazing care of her and got her in within just a couple of days. they kept her overnight as a precaution and brought her back to us healthy, safe, and happy. They went over post op instructions, medications and everything in detail and made us feel like our dog was very well taken care of. The staff was lovely, warm and friendly. They were making jokes with us and also accommodating us in every way possible. I couldn’t be more thankful to Dr. Moborak and staff.
I would leave 10 stars if I could! Blackburn Animal Hospital was able to see my cat when our regular vet did not return my calls. They went above and beyond to take care of her in her time of need, and less than 24 hours later she is back to her old self and on her way to recovery. I couldn't be happier with the kind, compassionate care and service we received. You can tell the staff here really care. Thank you all again for taking care of my special girl, I am forever grateful and a client for life.
Amazing! We took our very sick kitten here and he had to stay at the hospital for 24hrs since he was very sick and needed IV. Our kitten is doing great and we are so thankful to have found this amazing animal hospital. A special thank you to Dr. Mobarak, Ahamed and the staff for taking very good care of Simba for us. We knew he was in good hands. We so appreciated it! We Highly recommend it!
Highly recommend Blackburn Animal Hospital. Had our first visit with our 7.5 year old Bernese Mountain dog today, and we can’t say enough good things about our experience. We had the pleasure of dealing with Dr. Mobarak and his son for our dogs visit and what a team they make. Explained everything thoroughly, patiently answered questions even though they were extremely busy, and were very thorough and didn’t rush through the visit all while they were juggling multiple competing priorities. The love they have for animals is evident and they truly want what’s best for your pet. We will will definitely be lifelong clients knowing our dogs present and future and in the best hands !
