The staff at the Bissell are very nice and helpful. At the Bissell they welcome you and the programs the have are very good I've felt like one of the family here and I really recommend the Bissell center to everyone and give it a 5 star rating
Appreciate the kind workers today. got 5 pieces of clothing for 23$! i was disappointed that the boots i wanted too buy were 50$ but still very happy with the overall experience.
Google says you open at 8 am. We tried to drop stuff off for donation 9:30 am. A very rude employee snapped at us, as we interrupted their meeting. Very RUDE. Slammed the door in our face. Maybe you should post the hours you'd actually be open to accepting donations.
A leader in what community support should be. People first. I cannot stress how necessary programs that approach a complex problem with a multifaceted approach. It's effective and takea a huge weight off of resources ill equipped and funded. Brings people proper care, understanding and the time and effort they deserve as members of our community. Worthy of the very same level of care. Thank you all for being angels walking through hell with our vulnerable people.
I called several times about mail and other services and they don't answer there phone line when it's listed on there website.they also steal people's mail and try to play victim when there guilty.they make people like up still when the pandemic is over.this has been reported
I was promised a lot of help by Michael Cardinal in Community Bridges program. After waiting two weeks for him to return calls to me, which he NEVER did, I gave up frustrated, depressed, and anxious because not a bit of the help he offered ever came to fruition. All I got here was fed a lot of b.s. and made to believe I was going to receive help when in fact I could not even get a return phone call from the person that made so many promises to me. They should change their name to "Wishful Thinking" or "Full of False Hopes and Promises"!!!
Basing someone's literal desperate need for housing off of one's "testing" only, isn't right. Also only focusing in said testing doesn't help one get anywhere. If they were actually helping they'd be keeping in contact!! Is "Homeward Trust" the main housing Bissell Centre likes to use??Should be another option ....nothing positive to say about that place;the services you have aren't enough for those people.I wished Edmonton would've done more for them;stop expanding the city and making high rises etc Edmonton wouldn't have homeless people if they saw how other countries helped with their own.
Excellent resource , as they a nonprofit organization here in the city . Giving help to many less fortunate , weather it's giving a aid to the city's homeless community or someone in need of resources. Employment, housing , food hampers as well clothing and hygiene. The staff without a doubt compassionate for the needs of many . I've benefited through the employment casual labour office as well housing . I am a bit bias toward this place for all of the help I have been blessed to have recieved . Highly recommended for helping and giving back check it out for yourself cause I am biased .
Awesome help. Indexed facing done. The lady Mariah made sure my faxing went through. I had a coffee while I waited. I love the Bisselle Center. The staff are always very helpful. Five stars
