Very confusing place to visit... the employees were rude and did not like us wandering around checking out history...be sure to know what youre exactly looking for so you dont get frowned upon. Improve the customer service aspect and might feel more welcoming.
Great old Armoury , Canadian Heritage Sitebuilt in 1915, it was was used as a National Defence Training site untill 1977 it was home to the 51st Battalion and 233rd French-Canadian Battalion in WW1, In WW2 it served as a base for 101st Edmonton Fusiliers,The Loyal Edmonton Regiment and 49th Regiment
Amazing piece of history. Definitely should be more well known!
Its a storage facility with an excellent museum.
Fascinating part of Edmonton's history.
The City of Edmonton employees are friendly, courteous and easy to talk to. The archival material is amazing to see. So much history. Many of the materials are open access. It was great to be there.
Great place to wander around and see Canada's history. They also host a lot of events here. Free parking, wheelchair accessible to the second floor via elevator.
Beautiful building. I come for all the local craft shows here.
Very cool building. Lots of interesting historical artifacts and stories about buildings and more
We were here for a field trip of the Telephone museum and the Loyal Regimen museum. It is a very cool building and the kids enjoyed learning new things. They especially loved the telephone museum's switchboard.
