Bishop O'Byrne Senior High School

As a graduating student of 2025, I’ve seen this school change for the worse. The new admin team is questionable at best... previous admins were much better before they were replaced in late 2023–24. They're switching from a Period 5 system to a Period 4 system next year with no real justification, which is a downgrade. On top of that, the gate connecting the YMCA to the school is locked, and we can’t even access the gym to get to sports med without freezing outside. Wouldn’t recommend this school to anyone. Only redeeming factor is the fine arts program.. if you do come here, at least join band! Mr. Fonseca is goated frfr.

More about aboriginal people than anything else. That have a whole club just for aboriginal people. Nothing against aboriginal people.If you are going to have a club only for indigenous students to attend and be not incusive of others have a club only for the LGBTQ students the LGBTQ community was not accepted until the stonewall riot. If this school wants us to actually be present as this school than educate us on true canadian history and LGBTQ. Point is this school needs an LGBTQ club so we as students can celebrate pride month, bisexual week, etc just to name a couple. I DO NOT FEEL WELCOMED IN THIS SCHOOL. fix it please!

Despite anyone's experience good/bad/in between, here are some facts to know before you enroll:n- Very influential LGBTQ2S+ Community.n- K honey like 60% of teachers here are pretty lazy, but the hard-working 40% of them are GREAT!n- And this school has never ceased to produce extraordinary theater performances even though behind the scenes they have so much drama.n- Lots of swearing but like what other high school doesn`t these days?n-Would not recommend a Christian to come here who does not have a strong foundation and who is willing to stand up for believing in Jesus Christ...n-Convenient transportationnnUmm so like...I hope whoever reads this will keep BOB in their prayers:

Probably would be my best school/school year ever if it weren't for the pandemic. I would definitely recommend going to this school if you like IB. The atmosphere was great when you are with other like-minded individuals. The teachers were supportive and kind. The courses were good and well balanced. I haven't really experienced any negative things in the school, except maybe from other students. I don't know how the negative reviews were thought of by the other students because I have never experienced those sort of experiences. They just seem like they hate school in general, considering that their claims about the school are most likely superficial. But that's probably because I was in IB, and who's to say if anyone is right or wrong?
