Story

Big O Tires – Vernon, BC is a locally owned and operated automotive service centre. We strive to deliver quality products to our customers. For auto repairs, or new tires and wheels, come see us in person or request a quote online.

Our history begins around four decades ago, at the same location we're at today. In 1975, an auto repair shop opened to solve the car problems of families across the area. By 1977, this auto repair shop had become part of the Midas family. In 1990, current owner Mike Livingstone bought the shop. It continued to operate as part of the Midas chain until 2007, when Mike turned it into an independent business. Most recently, in 2014, Mike took the step to become a Big O Tires dealer. He was successful, and today we're proud to operate as part of the Big O Tires family.

We’re also a NAPA AutoPro Centre providing fast, friendly service and competitive pricing.

Garnet saved the day for me and my family. I had rented a car in Kelowna and we were spending a few days staying in Vernon and skiing at Silver Star. On day 2, the driver's side wiper stopped working and the snow was falling steadily. I pulled in to Big O and Garnet confirmed that the assembly had become stripped. He looked for a replacement but the new part would have to be shipped in from the coast.

Garnet got creative and swapped the two wipers. And he was able to tighten the stripped wiper arm so that it was operational.

Also note that Garnet was going to drive us up to the mountain if he couldn't get it working. Now that is going above and beyond!

Great Service!!! After calling many places in a panic for a tire as mine blew out driving from Alberta to the Okanagan, Big O Tires in Vernon brought one in from their warehouse within 3-4 hours for me, changed it and I was back on my way in no time. The staff was super friendly and accommodating with affordable prices. They saved the day!!!

I phoned at 12:05, my car was in at 12:30 and I was out by 1:00.  The service was promtp and efficient.  The tech was hustling to get my car done for me.  I had my resonater removed and replaced because it was ratling internally.  On top of the that, the price was more than fair!  I would go again.

Would not recommend going here to anyone. Had my tires changed over, they ended up cross threading a lug nut and they refused to fix the damaged stud saying it was already like that. im going to have to cut my lug nut off now because they used an impact driver.

Excellent pricing and outstanding service!  Honest hard working team really looked out for me as the tires I purchased from another supplier did not last as long as I had hoped.  Garnet, Len and Cory took excellent care of my vehicle and found me the best pricing I've ever received on my high performance Michelin Tires.  Thanks again!
