Low rating due to unfriendly and unhelpful front desk clerk. Tried to check in at 3pm but told room was not ready. Waited about 45 minutes with no apology or consideration from the clerk. Many of the hotel staff did not appear to be trained in hospitality. Very few smiles or greetings. Many dogs present due to the 1st two floors being pet friendly. Barking can be heard throughout. The hotel lobby and breakfast area was remodeled last year and looks awful compared to what it used to be. It is very spartan and noisy. In the owners response that follows this review, incorrect facts are stated by the owner: 1). I was not at all upset about my rate not being lowered for not using the pool. My wife simply asked if it could be since we were being charged a pool fee ($2/day) and we had no intention of using the pool. I do not get upset about trivia nor would I distort the facts. 2).I was not checked in at 3pm, because the room was not ready. I was told to wait in the lobby. The original desk agent left the hotel without updating us and her replacement told us about the room that was ready on the pet free floor. 3).I did not trigger a new wait time because the pet free room that we got was ready, it was being saved for another guest that had asked for that specific room. We did not have to wait for it to be cleaned. The original desk agent never offered me the pet free floor. (We had no pets with us.) The owner is asserting that I caused the delay by asking for a pet free floor even though the room on the pet free floor was ready. The delay was due to being assigned a room that was pet friendly that was not ready at the expected check in time of 3pm. My real complaint with this hotel is not the delay in checking in, but rather the uncaring manner in which we were treated at that time. Now hotel management is changing facts to make it look like we caused our own problems that day and is implying that my motivation for this low rating is that I did not get my pool fee removed. I am an experienced traveler and know how important it is to feel welcome in a hotel. On this occasion it only took a few poorly trained employees to tarnish an otherwise fine hotel's reputation.

Best stay in $100 price range we've had this year. Great news. Reasonably quiet on the 1st floor. Extra sink and mirror I. Alcove relieves pressure on bathroom for teeth brushing. Huge TV. Fridge, microwave, great coffee on room, hot water, nicer shower than most. Superb breakfast included. Great pool and hot tub. Convenient to fuel, tesla plug ins, pet friendly, a straight shot to shopping and the hwy 93 strip. Clean. Worth it.

Quiet and clean, the Best Western had lovely appointed common areas and a good breakfast selection in the morning. The staff were very friendly. The pool was a pleasant addition for my little family to play. I suppose it is just Montana lodging rates in the peak of the summer, as the price was comparable to other similar options, but for $200 a night, I kind of hope for more than your basic room. Maybe I'm just too frugal. Overall a nice place with some upscale modern upgrades in the common areas.

We were in town for a wedding and this hotel was perfect. Right of the freeway and located perfectly. The continental breakfast was probably a 3 star out of 5, best part was they provided french vanilla creamer with your coffee. Staff was very professional and helpful, rooms were updated and beds comfortable. Would defiantly stay again.

The staff is incredibly accommodating, and so kind! They say yes to everything or give you suggestions if they don't have the answer. Room was perfectly clean and tidy, great AC! Location is good, right off the interstate.
