The sales person tried to sell the monthly plan from Geek Squad. That's a monthly plan charging you $ 26.94 and you can get your computer bought in the store fixed if there is any problems. We didn't have many chances to use this service so we want to cancel this plan after about half an year. The process of cancellation is not easy. They don't let you do it in the store but to use the web site's live chat. I've waited for 20 minutes and during this 20 minutes, I have to come back to live chat page to check if the agent is on the screen otherwise, my screen would be terminated. So I waited for the agent to talk to me and was told there is a cancellation charge of $ 9.54. Friends don't ever trust Best Buy's any plans. They charge you monthly but not much help. You don't have that many computer problems happening every month. It is totally a waste of money. And they charge you for the cancellation just because my plan was premium and there was a "liquid damage". Who the hell knows what that means if you don't have that much computer knowledge. They put this in the terms & conditions but the sales person didn't mention about this at all. If there is a fee like this, I wouldn't have singed up for this plan in the first place.
The employee Safa from the Apple Section was so incredibly helpful! It was Black Friday sale and everything was hectic, but she had incredible customer service skills. I came in looking to buy gifts within a price range, but no idea what I wanted, and she brought me through so many possibilities and options with so many ideas. Definitely one of the best customer experiences I have ever had!
I met 2 people not good . Then people who good. So together I think I gonna make dislike. Geek squad is good place really recommend. But other is... Okey. Not good not bad. I do have personal thoughts for this or it might be 3 or I like to say 2.5 For products itself. I think some are good some are just. Too overpriced.
A recent shopping experience was not met satisfactory overall. Went online shopping for a pickup but an confirmation email never arrived, so decided to cancel order and get merchandise in store instead, since its location is very close. I stopped a salesperson in the right zone but was told to ask the checkout for more details: he was obviously not willing to help just pushed me aside for someone else. Waited in line and was told only confirmed orders with email at hand should be waiting at that spot. Total waste of time. Worse, another manager-alike person impatiently went through the order procedures and said it was likely an obvious mistake on my side for "not order prior before visit". On the website it clearly said that merchandise was in store and ready to purchase. I went to another shop and purchased the same product with no sweat in one go, just 10 minutes later. Speaking of services these days.
Rating employee service and not the store. Was at the Lansdowne store on Black Friday. Great service from Sarthak who took the time - during a busy day - to provide product knowledge and best products that met our needs. High level of knowledge and service from this employee!!! Wonderful experience. Best Buy. There has to be a better way to acknowledge employees who go above and beyond. Tried the "chat" and the 1-888 number. Both sites gave awful service and information how to recognize an employee.
The gong show that happened on Black Friday night of 2022Koodo 45/50gig plan Calvin you & your crew did an awesome job. Even with the issue with my account from switching carries, it took a while but you guys managed to take care of it. I will recommend this Best Buy branch to all my family and friends.
Asked an employee I was looking for a hard drive for a macbook that didn't require an adapter, he sold me one for 90 bucks that I later found out needed an adapter, I tried returning it but they said if there's nothing wrong with it then I couldn't get a refund. So I ended up having to buy an adapter for 30 bucks, I'm now down 120 bucks for something I didn't even ask for. I couldve just went on Amazon and bought what I was looking for for 30 bucks instead. Left the store feeling like I just got robbed. Terrible customer service with no accountability. You guys just lost a life time customer.
Just want to thank Ishan for excellent customer service. I don't know much about dash cam and airpods. He explained everything perfectly. Nice to see Best Buy Richmond hiring quality employees.
Really pleased with my experience here. Best Buy has taken precautions to ensure a COVID safe environment. When we arrived the store was at capacity so we had to wait outside, we were in within 5 minutes. At the door we were asked by the greeter what we were coming for and directed where to go, I had preplanned and did a online instore pickup. We went to instore pickup at the back left, gave our email with pickup confirmation and two pieces of ID. We were in and out within minutes, smooth and easy.
It's been a while since I've set foot in this bestbuy but it has certainly a different look. There's a larger focus on the home utilities and appliance sections. Lots of nice displays. Computers and games and tvs sections are easy to find so did not spend a lot of time finding what I need. It's not the busiest of bestbuys due to landsdowne mall being so spread out. Even on boxing day or blackfriday it is probably one of the better placed to wait and lineup
