Welcome to Beattie Pet Hospital Stoney Creek! We have been serving the Stoney Creek community since May 6, 2012. Beattie Animal Hospital was first opened in Brantford in 1952 by Dr. Bob Beattie. We have served our clients in Brantford and surrounding area for over 60 years and due to loyalty of our clients we were able to expand to Ancaster, Stoney Creek and Burlington.

Beattie Pet Hospital is a 24hour/7days a week facility that believe in pet care around the clock even on holidays. We strive to provide excellent care for pets, excellent service to clients with the help of a support team that is dedicated and have love for pets.

Came here in an emergency with my dog late at night... and I was VERY happy with the care that my dog was given. The rooms are kept very clean, and the waiting room was clean as well. The vet was nice and helpful and let me ask many questions. They did not force me to do more labs than needed, and gave my dog the treatment he needed. So thankful for this 24 hr service too! It helps a lot since my dogs symptoms worsened at night! I come here for my dogs check ups now too

We went to the Stoney Creek location to have our cat spayed. We thought the vets and technicians were very professional, experienced, nice and informative. We appreciated that we could keep our cat at Beattie's overnight after her surgery to ensure she was monitored and recovering well from the surgery. Everything went as planned and our cat is almost at the 14 days where she can get the cone off. Her incisions are healing well and she seems happy.

Four trips from downtown Hamilton, several phone calls, a couple hundred dollars, and many glaring errors by hospital staff later, I finally got a UTI medication for my cat! Would you like to have your cat kept overnight just to be discharged without medication “by accident”?!? Because Beattie is the place for you!! Don’t waste your time going here. They’ll waste your time and money, because they don’t care about your pet or you. The only saving grace about this place is the brilliant bedside manner of Dr Lee. Everything else is horrendous. I urge anyone who cares for the well being of their pet to NOT use this vet. There is many other great vet clinics in Hamilton and the surrounding areas that actually care for the well being of your pet and less for their financial gain. This place is an institution and their own care is for how many pets get through the door and how much money they can squeeze through its clients. I have never had a scheduled appointment that was less than a 45minute delay due to over booking. My final nail in the coffin happened when they made a little accounting error on my bill on my last visit and then decided to send me to collections regarding the very minimal sum of money vs the amount I have spent there over the last 5 years. I was never given the proper notice before they decided to send me a threatening email...this was all due to them not changing my account over properly 2 years prior (contact information). This probably due to being understaffed and rushing people out the door. I would have paid the amount with no problems if I was given the properly Given notice and they did not threaten collections, but it was past it as it was now the principle of what had happened. They still would budge over this very minimal amount even after evidentially proving they were in the wrong and threatening to move my dog from their future care. When I went in to pick up all of my dogs files and pay their lousy $30 screw up they tacked on a interest charge and still expected me to pay that for their mistake! The response I was given by the lady at the counter was “people make mistakes”!  I sure am happy that even though they made the mistakes they still think it’s justified to charge me interest! Moral of the story...stay away....far away!!!!’

I came here because I had a family member that used to come here a few years ago. I had an appointment for 5 I was not seen until just before 7. I was not too impressed with the care and was told it was another 45 minutes if I wanted blood work which I had originally told them on the phone I had wanted. When I came out to pay for my short visit there was about 5 people lined up and no receptionist. Someone finally came out and looks surprised to see so many people and said she just woke up. I have been to many veterinary clinics as I move around quite a bit and never had this type of experience or felt the need to review it. I appreciate that the hours of service are awesome but I think I will just stick with one of my old Veterinary Clinic.
