Travelled 7 hours to visit this shop. As an avid bead purchaser i was very taken aback by the price of the natural stone beads. However, I did see some variations that I have never seen so I decided to purchase some. Nearly 200$ later, I have enough to make about 5 bracelets. Prices are extremely high in comparison to other shops. I was not a big fan of the lack of transparency with bulk discounts and wish the store had better lighting and more organization. It was not until I got back home and made my bracelets that I noticed the quality of the beads is very below standard. Many beads have different sized holes, have chips in them or are different in size. At $1+ a bead this is extremely disappointing and unacceptable. Im so pro-shop-local but the the shadiness and lack of communication at this store has me reminded why I continuously shop online. Long story short - they have some different variations but prepare for a hefty bill and really inspect before you purchase.
Wide variety of beads, super cool store! They have something for everyone from crystals to glow in the dark beads in all shapes an sizes. Its a great gift idea for someone who loves bracelets and custom jewelry. Its also nice if you want to make a unique bracelet for yourself, all at a good price!
This place AVOID IT. Lady feels that her stuff is “premium” that we as consumers should pay the price because it comes from Europe LOL. I could care less about where your fake steel comes from. I came in one time looking for earring posts. She was going on about why the price was the price. Then proceeded to say she will leave a pair of earring posts outside her store for me after store hours? Please support other Local business who deserve the support. Look at other affordable bead options. This place a Total rip off. Not to mention the time I did come in, it was very cold at that time. No heat in her place, shouted at me to shut the door cause I’m letting all her WARM air OUT LOL
Fantastic place! Lots of inventory and it's clear that the owner truly values providing her customers with quality. She recently taught 2 of my daughters, in individual classes, how to create some amazing jewelry pieces of their own. Her patience with each of them was incredible. They are now addicted and have since created awesome pieces of their own. The pic included is just one example of what they're now making. Thank you!
I really like the service at this shop. My daughter has a ring with 2 stones, that are tear shaped. and lost one of the stones. It was a very a tricky request: match the other stone, in size, shape and color!!!! The owner searched for 5 months for us to find the perfect stone for her ring. Her price was very reasonable to buy and place the stone in the ring. Both my daughter and I would highly recommend this shop.
They repaired a super old hemp bead necklace for me, did a great job. Plus I got some fantastic new bracelets. Good selection, good repairs.
Sienna was awesome - nice warm welcome when I walked in and was all over helpful suggestions of how to repair the piece I had, including knowledge of the various stones' properties that she suggested using. She even offered that the repair service could be completed in-house which was hugely appreciated as I have NO clue when it comes to doing my own jewelry repairs! Overall a great experience and I'm looking forward to seeing the finished result of what 30 years experience will provide!
To start things off the owner was almost an hour late to open up the store past opening time. I had to wait outside for close to an hour to be let in. It says on the website that you can come into the store, pick out your beads and it can be made for you on the spot. What it doesn't say on the website is that she charges you an absurd amount for this. The costs of the beads are standard, it is the labour fee that is beyond unacceptable. The owner stated she charges $4.00 just to tie a knot on each bracelet, plus another $16 to put the beads on the string, and in addition $8.00 for some other "labour". The cost of 3 bracelets totaled over $100. You can order the same thing online for the same cost of her "labour". Rip off, poor customer service, will never be back. Additionally the owner is not a people-person at all, if you're going to run a business take some courses on how to do so. She's very unfriendly and I wish her the best in handling things. After reading more reviews that seems to be the consensus. Being a kind individual is not hard, I highly recommend trying it and I promise you will get better reviews.
An absolutely fantastic little shop and an even more amazing owner! I would HIGHLY recommend this location to anyone looking for hand-crafted jewelry! I walked into this store with the vague idea of purchasing a simple necklace, and was not at all confident with what I was looking for or what I would be satisfied with. The owner was extremely gracious, understanding, and helpful; and took everything a bumbling, indecisive costumer myself could throw her way with kindness, consideration, and professional ease. She helped me choose a custom design for my necklace and set and reset the layout several times to soothe my OCD laden conscience. Rarely have I met a shop owner who was such a patient and empathetic host, and who made me feel so comfortable in a situation where I otherwise would have felt anxious and rushed. At the end of the visit - I came away with a beautiful necklace that I am ecstatic to be gifting to my best friend, and the price was more than fair in consideration of the product and service that were received. I will always be returning here for any and all of my vague jewelry needs!
What a fantastic little store in a very convenient location! I often go there to get my bracelets adjusted, but I thought perhaps I would try my hand at making one for a change. As someone who doesn't do these sort of creative things often, it was somewhat a challenge. I knew to pick stones that I liked, but I knew there is more of an art to it than just that! The owner was very patient and understanding. She never rushed me and offered suggestions even though the store was getting extremely busy. I never felt rushed, and she was extremely kind! I am looking forward to dropping by again to make another bracelet.
