*Boycott! *Boycott! *Boycott! *Boycott! *Boycott! *Boycott! *Boycott! This place is the worst bar/club/filthy dance club EVER! Junkie at the door taking the cover? That's SMART! I went for 2000s night Saturday, January 13th 2018. Got in at 12:15am, paid cover and was sent to a line up for coat check...this line up had about 30 people in it. After 10 minutes went by and we still hadn't move an inch, we knew there was a problem. I tried to find someone working at the coat check but unfortunately I couldn't find anyone. So we proceeded back downstairs to exit this establishment only to be told by a doorman who was CLEARLY STONED OUT OF HIS MIND that I couldn't have my cover refunded even though he knew I never even stepped foot into the club. The doorman told me to call in the morning and the staff will see if they will refund your money. This was a lie! I've called Barrymore's at least 20 times in the past 2 mornings...still no answer! I paid $10 x 3 (there were 3 of us) so that we could walk up a staircase and wait in a filthy smelly busted up hallway. To then verbally abused by a junkie who I paid $10 a head to for a 20 minute line up to nowhere is just wrong! The junkie told me he knew we just walked in, he said that we were only in there for about 10 minutes (it was actually about 20-25 minutes) but that he wasn't giving me my money back. I then asked to speak to a manager but he said forget it, get out and if I persisted he'd have the bouncer bounce us out. Doesn't seem very legal now does it...I will be filling a complaint through the BBB, WBIB and the labor board of Ontario. Thanks for being so unorganized and hiring a drugged up, rude doorman. No wonder the place is a filthy dive! BOYCOTT THIS DIVE BAR!!!

Good for live music not good for any electronic scene concerts. The speakers are absolute garbage and when the crowd jumps the whole place feels like its going to collapse.

The service is the worst, bartenders more interested in flirting with the sound tech than pouring a drink. We thought we'd have a night out to remind us of our youth but instead I was reminded how much I love my pjs .

It's alright i would say.. beat is too intense at times. Bar service average but beer very cold (a plus) tends to be very crowded on weekends so line up by 10:45 to get in quickly. Coat check service could be a little slow but the staff were friendly.
