Very cool interior. The music ruined the atmosphere a bit though. I really wanted to like this place but the sazeracs were honestly awful. The taste of absinthe was very overpowering.

I love the seating and environment there. But every time I go they don't have everything available, namely cheese and vegetable platter. I asked for a veggie plate once and all I got was a bowl of olives... that's not how it was last time.

Drinks and food were garbage and overpriced. Avoid this place. Only gets by on its location and decor.

Went with my girlfriend last night and was quite disappointed. I went a couple years ago and recalled the food being great...however I knew one of the kitchen staff then. Something has definitely changed! We walked in and the (friendly) staff was obviously bored (understandable as before we arrived the front-of-house staff outnumbered the customers, even though surrounding restaurants were busy) which was a red flag, but we proceeded based on my previous experience. Ordered perogies, a vodka flight, charcuterie board, and caviar-topped "tater tots", all to share. My girlfriend described the food as "what a 22 year old might serve at their first 'adult' party." Caviar was flavourless, overwhelmed by sour cream & "tater tot" (what did I expect for $18 I guess?), perogies seemed to be of the frozen, bagged variety, and the charcuterie board was very middle of the road in terms of both selection and quality. Someone in the kitchen was waiting out the clock to go home I think. My girlfriend & I both love great food and spend without hesitation on quality meals, but we felt we got very poor value for our $80+ cheque (three starters, three vodka shots). The service was fine, but we were almost the only people there so how could it not have been?

Place is small but it's nit and well decorated absolutely good for the drincks and coctails. Looking foward to go back there on my spare time and the staff is wonderful and caring 💓
