Ritual Night Club

Extremely disappointed. Went there during the past weekend to enjoy a night out in Ottawa and when we paid there was no coat check but to select an "available" table. We entered the club and it was EMPTY!! Only the DJ and the bartender were there and it was almost 12:30am. When we immediately left, the girl said that they don't do refunds but that we could come back at a later time. Never going back here again. A complete waste of money and time

It has good nights and bad nights. Much better venues out there but this is usually the goto for alot of out of town small acts.

I've seen so many of my favorite artists here. Great small venue.

I was not impressed with this place at all. Dingy basement-type nightclub (with pee-smell to boot). Went in for a show and the band did not disappoint. But service, bouncers and coat check were definitely not highlights. Pricey for crap-beer.

The place is a dump, the washrooms are disgusting (that's the ONE toilet that was working) and the sound is not more than adequate. The most disturbing thing however is that they demand TWO pieces of i.d. to get into the place "to make sure the i.d. and the person match". When questioned further, they were adamant that this was not to check for legal drinking age. Good thing since I'm almost 50!
