Yuk Yuk's Comedy Club

Had such an amazing night!! We ate at Biagio’s and then went to Yuk Yuks. The size of the locale is perfect - larger enough for infectious laughter but small enough for it to feel intimate. There were four acts in total and the headliner, Derek Seguin, had us breathless and in tears we were laughing so hard! Melanie, opener and host, was so good too. Everyone working at Yuk Yuk’s was so friendly and welcoming, especially the doorman and Erin, who was our server. Highly recommend as a great night out in Ottawa!! Notes for accessibility: it is in a basement with a fairly steep staircase, and bathrooms are not wheelchair accessible. LGBTQIA+ welcoming.

This place is quaint and small. You can order food and drinks. Since it's attached to the Biagio restaurant, parking space is limited but there's free parking at Lincoln Fields behind Wendy's. The comedians were very funny. The staff at this location is super friendly and efficient. If go back again.

Yuk Yuks Comedy's home is on Eligin st but due to covid is temporaŕily at the Lago bar and grill at the Dows Lake Pavillion. Yuk Yuks is a great place to see and hear local and international comedians from around the world. Each show is unique and often hit and miss in talent, so try to be patient if the first night you go sucks. The next show may be bordering on brilliant.nnThe home bar on Elgin st is in a dated basement and the temporary Dows Lake location should have much better air circulation. I haven't tried the Dows lake location yet, but will go to either Yuk Yuks location once again after I get my vaccine shot.nnThings change and Yuk Yuks can go back to Elgin again. It would be helpful if their website posted updates where the club is operating out of. Even put signs outside the bars to inform those who drive by to avoid confusion.nnUpdate: I finally went to the new Richmond Yuk Yuks comedy club and had a great time. Also had the tomato soup and was very good.

Been there a couple of times now, great service, great comics. Great view of the stage from any seat as well.

Great cozy atmosphere. They serve food and drinks. Enjoyed my time there. Great to bring a group of people or go in a date. Everywhere you sit you have a clear view of the stage.
