Solid. Rock solid. Watermelon jalapeño margaritas were sweet with a smokey kick. We got the salsa sampler with a variety of 8 different tacos amongst the 3 of us. They all had excellent flavor and creativity. Great atmosphere and the bathroom has the soft paper towels that feel like cloth we really liked them. Very clean and overall we had an excellent experience, we would highly recommend. Thanks again for the great dinner!!
The tacos were perfect. The house margarita was perfect. The street corn was perfect. Nothing in Ohio deserves to be this good but was it good! It wasn't even Ohio good, it was like legit good. Also, very celiac friendly. Last big plus? While not a typical "family" restaurant, the staff were very sweet to my kiddos and they let us know about the off menu kids quesadilla. P.S if you do bring kids, may I recommend the corn bread - a total hit!
Service was wonderful food was presented well and the wait wasn't long. Clean and nice environment. Rice bowl needs more meat. Chorizo dip was by far the best item. Bacon taco flavorful but not as good as the ones I had before needs another slice or two of bacon for the price. Philly taco heavy on the cheese but not disappointing! Wheelchair accessibility: Limited but available.
Excuse me, serving glasses of water before the server arrives?! Don’t stop doing this! Service was good, food was good, however as a Southern person the cornbread was too soggy for my liking. The flavor of the cornbread and honey butter great, but it was too soggy. The shrimp tacos were perfect, the street corn was the best I've had!
Came with a party of 11 8 adults and 3 children under 3 for lunch. Seated immediately, and music and atmosphere were pretty good. Service wasn't the best. The server didn't get drinks to two of our party members, and we had to ask the bartender for help, and she also didn't get one of our orders, so we had to flag her down for that as well. The food was very mediocre for the price. The sides were not good at all. We ordered a side of rice, and it was literally just white rice with cilantro on it. The tacos we ordered were decent, the best being the spicy beef taco. We didn't like the lobster taco lots of lobster, but not seasoned at all or their firecracker shrimp taco no spice and very sweet. Overall, it was a 3* experience.
This is a tough review to leave. The tacos are very good, the bacon taco is extremely good. We enjoyed a couple drinks with our meal and they were decent. The service was above average. I did not like the price. I felt it was very high for a small amount of food. Around $7 a taco, and they are not big. You can get regular beef tacos for $5. The part that made me flip out was the suggested tip amounts on the receipt. I'm still getting used to 15%, 18% and 20%. They suggest 20%, 22% and 25%! I felt insulted. Overall a decent place to go have a drink and eat some delicious tacos. But it's gonna cost ya
I absolutely love this place! The food was amazing! The staff/bar tender was very accommodating and attentive!!! The beverages were great! Upstairs there was live music/band! They were phenomenal! Overall what an amazing way to spend a Saturday night 11/5/22 in downtown Sandusky with family and friends!! Also, surprisingly, it wasn't over crowded at all!
Our servers name was Emily and she was phenomenal. She checked in with us, was polite, and was thinking one step ahead. I'm a vegan and she helped me make special accommodations to my tacos. Plus the food was delicious. If I could afford it I would come here all the time.Food: 5/5
Food was good, and drinks were good. Service was great. Portions were smaller for the cost. We had street corn for our side and it was just okay. We've had better other places. Would go back, but it wouldn't necessarily be my first choice in the area.Food: 4/5
Very limited, expensive options of food. Don't put prices on the menu for obvious reasons. Food is okay but definitely not worth the price especially for how small the tacos are. Then when you pay they also charge a 3%"processing" fee just for paying that no one mentioned. I'd understand if it was a set fee to pay with a card but the fact that it's a percentage of your bill is a bit ridiculous
