In true speakeasy style, this place is not easily found, Google maps will still take you right there. Its small, quaint and relaxing. A pretty extensive drink menu of all hand made cocktails with the finest liquors. Worth a visit
Small speak easy bar with delicious cocktails. Higher than normal cost for the area but well worth the money. If you don't enjoy crowded bars with loud music this place is for you. Nice barkeep that puts a lot of effort into every drink.
My favorite stop for date night, girls night, or even after a long day. The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff are great, and the cocktails are the best around.
My girlfriend and I came here as a recommendation from a bartender elsewhere. It was a little odd walking in through curtains, but once inside, you realize this is like a locals retreat. Being that we were on vacation, I was afraid we would be intruding. We spent almost 4 hours there and I think we walked away with about 6 new friends, including Ashley the bartender, who was a rockstar with her drinks. Really enjoyed our time at the Volstead.
Came to Sandusky for a day trip and was so glad to find this gem. Will be back just to get another great cocktail from Zach! Very charming and authentic speakeasy experience.
Ordered a Bee’s Knees & let’s say it was just that. Bartenders were friendly while the atmosphere does take you back in time.
Amazing bar with a unique menu. Loved meeting the bartender with the best attitude. If you love a great atmosphere and delicious drinks this is the bar you are looking for.
I've been going in here off and on for 8 years it's a great place to relax and they make the best sidecars....
Drinks are perfect amount of strong and tasty. 5 stars
First time in, cocktails were amazing! Great for a date night, but would not bring anymore that 4 people to the group as it is a smaller place.
