I have definitely been to better taco joints. The food was mediocre. The location and atmosphere was good. It was nice to sit outside. The server could be more tentative. We where asked what drinks we wanted and never if we wanted an appetizer. I had to holler it out as she walked away. Drink refills where very slow and forgotten about. I don’t think I will be back.
Overall a really good experience at OH Taco. Food, atmosphere and service was all really great. We had the “Fiesta Fries” for our appetizer the got 3 speciality tacos Grilled Shrimp, Fit Life Shrimp and Chorizo. Definitely worth a stop while in Sandusky!
Was there on a whim, won't be back, definitely food for drunk people as the guacamole was bland, the pico was watery and the shrimp taco was like eating rubber! The waiter/waitress was nice enough, but the group behind me were loud and obnoxious, one woman felt the need to scream over everyone else around her. SEASONING is needed, the guacamole was just mashed avocado with nothing else in it! The pico was watery and the cilantro branches were a bit much, they weren't Roma tomatoes, if they were, their supplier got one over on them. The shrimps were overcooked and drowning in an aioli sauce, simple because I asked for no lettuce, they didn't cut back the portion of sauce, and the "taco" she'll, came apart the second I tried to pick it up, so I had to eat a taco with a fork! Prices are okay, but overall, not some where I'd seek out again. Sorry folks, bar food at best, cause everything's better when you're drunk I guess!
Nice ambience and a welcome reprieve from the long day at cedar point. Carnitas were a clear signal that they have their taco game. Choose the queso over the guac. The Queso reminded me of route 66 Dinner in New Mexico
Very good. Pretty good portions, reasonable prices too. Everyone in our party really liked the food. Atmosphere and location... Amazing. We'll be going back for sure!
The atmosphere here was about the only real positive I got out of it. It's a fun place inside, well decorated, and has a view of Sandusky Bay. All 4 of our group agreed that the food was pretty average as were the cocktails we had. We also had a problem with the service being really slow. When we got there, a hostess at the front door told us there would be a little wait for a table. We were the only ones waiting and 3 groups left. We asked if they were going to come tell us when a table was ready or if we were just supposed to go back there. The hostess told us, "I was wondering that too". We went back and there were about 5 tables available and other people were just walking in the back door and seating themselves. It also took quite a while to get our drinks.
Stopped by for a Saturday lunch. I had the Green Eggs and Hash and the other half had Chorizo Tacos. Bother were excellent, but my food was beyond. Seriously, this place is amazing. I recommend the Lavender Sunrise too. So good. The staff was very pleasant, courteous and prompt. If you are debating where to go, go here.
Food was excellent. Service was amazing and super friendly. Atmosphere is a cool older building downtown with water views and old exposed brick walls authentically decoratedFood: 5/5
As a server I would be embarrassed to serve that food. Was served brown guacamole with a frozen rotten radish. The tacos tasted like trash. I never leave bad reviews but this was not even an attempt at serving decent meal.
If I could travel 2 hrs every time for dinner here I would .amazing place amazing service . We were slightly hesitant in trying out new places just based on reviews but it was probably the best service and don’t even get me started on the drinks .bartender was on god mode one of the best margaritas I have ever tried
