Blink and you might miss this awesome beer bar. What a vibe! It’s a long, narrow bar with tons of great beer options. The interior is red brick, wood and barrels. Moody and intimate. You can sit wherever. They’ve partnered with PG Clucks for food. I mean fried chicken and beer.. you can’t go wrong!
If you're looking for a unique beer experience, come to this place. It was so small that you might missed it along the road. Heated patio at the back. And the music was just right. Servers were also very friendly and helpful. First time to try the orange wine and I must say it is exceptional. Must try: Bianco orange wine
Very nice spot for a night out with friends. Beers are pretty good, nice selection. Food it s mostly bread not really what i m looking for when i m having beers but thst s personal prefrence. Nice Little patio, narrow. It s pretty lean place, atmosphere is very nice kind like cool Tavern feeling. Staff is friendly, there is no table service for drinks and food though.
Birreria Volo is a super cute spot on College with a fantastic beer selection. They also have a tasty food menu - I’d recommend the crostini and burrata. The survey was good. There is no table service, you need to go to the bar each time; however they do let you run a tab. Check it out!
Nice patio. Best chicken sandwich I've had in the city. Our friends got some of the bread which looked amazing. Espresso martini on tap, not as good as a cocktail, but does the trick when you want to keep them flowing and stay awake for the next leg of your night.
They had the best selection of natural wine and ciders right by Kensington Market. Walkable, decent price points and lots of variety. Yummy nostalgic snacks at the front too, i got juicy fruit sticks of gum and orange tic tacs!!
Went here for the peche Mortel beer showcase, ended up trying quite a few other beers too. Quick efficient service at the bar, seating at the patio was pleasant & they had a variety of different beers to satisfy any craft beer affinianado. Would defo visit again
With a cold day comes the need for a warm and cozy stop. If it has libations and great paired foods, you can't go wrong. If it's just some snackums or full on Sicilian style pizza, this regular goto joint on College street is the place to be. Since they are an importer their selection is nothing less than spectacular. Cantillon, Oxbow, 3F, Wood Brothers, Slake, Bellwoods, the list goes on with the breweries featured on their 24 tap rotating tap. They even brew in house at their other location. But make sure if you are going for the first time you follow these two things. 1. Know where you are going because don't blink or you will miss the place. It's seriously narrow and understated 2. Order from the menu using letters of the tap you want, not the name of the beer. They have so many it's just more kind to the bartender. 3bonus. Order 1 of their pizzas. It's more of a focaccia topped with some seriously high quality stuff that'll make you smile from ear to ear. Vegetarian options: Antipasti, pizza, snack foods.
Ok hands down the best chicken sandwich I had. The atmosphere and drinks also perfect. It was my first time there but I know I’ll be going back more. I ordered the classic but my friends who had the spicy one say its spicy spicy.
Stepping inside felt like entering a shrine to beer. We went a bit later in the evening and most of the candles had gone out so it was very dark. Half atmospheric, half inconvenient. The bartender absolutely loved to talk about the huge variety of fun beers they had on the wall. I had gone specifically to try some wild ales and hugely enjoyed the selection. The whole experience was 5/5 except for the price, which even I have to say is a bit eye watering. Expect to spend $15 on some of the more fun beers. Otherwise a really fantastic experience.
