Bar Italia

Loved the perogies at this longstanding establishment in Corydon village. Also really enjoyed the fish tacos. If you like perogies - try these ones - they were perfectly cooked.

Nothing like satisfying your Bar I Deluxe Fries cravings..picture in this review are the chicken fingers with deluxe fries..one being banana peppers and mozzarella and the other herb and garlic!nnNever disappointed..Bar I has been a staple since I was my teens. Spent my early twenties celebrating my birthday here and I have the best memories..definite changes in crowds over the decades..but the food brings me back!!

It's been more than a few years since I was at Bar I. Service was polite, attentive, and fast. Food was good, a solid 4.5. A dry burger and the worst blended lime margarita ever ate up that half star see what I did there ?. The restaurant loses for griminess, oddly non level floors throughout, and disgusting ladies room walls completely covered with scratched-into-the-paint graffiti like the stuff from middle school!?! Still it's a great place to sit in the patio on a summer day.

Nearly got jumped here. Security was involved, allowing patrons to get by and continue to chase after me. All started because a “regular” bumped into me. I apologized, went to the atm, all of the sudden had 10 people coming after me. Complained to LGCA and they wouldn’t review the footage blaming me for “starting” the issue without viewing the security cameras. Absolutely terrible place for anyone who isn’t gang affiliated. I was sober this whole event as I was the DD. Feel as if this occurred because we came in a group of white men. Was the first bar I went to after moving away and haven’t been back to Winnipeg since. This occurred a few years ago but feel like the public should know.

Excellent time. Their burgers are worth the trip, and so many options, on bun, artisan bread, or wrap. But also their fries are served with lots of flare, the cheese and bell pepper, the pesto and feta, the herb garlic. All amazingly flavourful. Great service. Great food.
