This is a review of their new location at the Calgary Farmer’s Market West. The staff were working extremely hard to get their orders out. It was super busy at the time. I ordered the shrimp pad Thai and it was delicious. I waited only about 5-10 minutes for my order. It was hot off the wok, flavourful, and filling. I would’ve liked some fresh lime on the side but it was still very good. I’d definitely recommend giving them a try at either markets. I had their pad Thai at the south food hall location prior to this and it was just as good.
When I’m hungry in a busy food hall, I always go for a meal that will surely satisfy my cravings and will make me feel full, and that’s why I’m glad there’s Bangkok street food in Farmers Market NW! Ordered their best tasting noodle Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Drunken Noodle. Still savoury and delicious!
The rave reviews caught my attention and walking in at 10am and being able to get Thai food was exciting. I’ve been trying Khao soi in Calgary and I was excited to see it on their recommended list. Unfortunately, this was possibly the most bland one I tried in Calgary. I really wanted to like it, it wasn’t bad, but I would never order it again. It was missing something. I’ll definitely be back to try other items. The gentleman was very friendly and the other reviews seem great. But the Khao soi was a miss from my perspective.
Wow!! Drunken Noodle with Beef. One Spicy One Mild. Each is flavourful and delish!! Friendly service. Great work folks!! I'll come again!!
I had the Tom Yum soup in a cup small. It was flavourful but the small does not come with noodles??? . so basically it’s a broth with meat and a few vegetables tomatoes and mushrooms- expensive for what you get and too spicy without the noodles. Be careful when eating as there are some flavour ingredients that are too tough to eat and need to be removed before eating. I would not get this again.
Tried a variety if menu items 6 at their new Greenwich location, and was very impressed with the quality and flavors. Took me back to our honeymoon in Thailand! Highly recommend. I plan to go back regularly for the mango rice dessert and keep making my way through the menu.
We had lunch at Bangkok Street Food in the new Calgary Farmers Market West. Their red chicken curry and drunken noodles were exceptional. Authentic Thai flavours and very spicy upon my request which is hard to find in Calgary. They were very busy, but managed to get our food out quickly and with a smile. We will certainly be back.
This place makes awesome pad Thai! So flavourful and just the right amount of spice! We got it with chicken and they don’t skimp on the chicken. We ate the whole plate before I was able to take a picture but would definitely come back for a plate of pad Thai!
Excellent noodles! My partner had veggie pad thai and I had the pad see ew with beef. Honestly some of the best I’ve had in Calgary. They were able to make both gluten free without sacrificing any of the flavour. I often find the gluten free versions blander. There was lots of meat in my dish and we had lots left over to take home with us. Excellent value and quality.
Absolutely delicious!! Whilst living in Thailand, Thai omelettes were one of my favourite things and I was so excited to see this on their menu! So authentic and yummy, just wish it was a bit bigger! Staff are lovely and very friendly to talk with!
