Captain's Nook

Captain's Nook is a hidden treasure in Surrey, BC. I This store is sparkling clean. I visited today and was delighted to have the choice of Chester's hand breaded chicken and other delicacies that are prepared on-site hot and delicious. There is a great variety of ice cream, cookies, hand sanitizers and of course all of the deli drinks and dairy that you would expect from a neighbourhood nook. The Captain was available to greet me and has such a friendly energetic team. Happy to share some pictures of this tidy gem that serves up some good eats everything you need convenience store and more.

I love visiting the captains nook whenever I’m in Surrey. It’s more than just a convenience store. They serve up incredibly good fried chicken that’s 100 times better the 7-eleven! When you are looking for a quick and convenient lunch, it’s a well located store. I stop in whenever I’m visiting the lower mainland on business for the incredible plum and rum cake as well as the fresh baked cookies with a nice quality coffee. They have a ton of really great snacks and treats as well, and unique products not seen at the larger establishments and stores. Clean and well maintained store and take out establishment.

OMG I WALKED ALL THE WAY DOWN HERE 7PM U R CLOSED!!!! I AM DISABLED!!! Thanks for making me walk for nothing and be in pain for no reason!! OPEN TILL 11:00 P.M. WHAT A JOKE! Every single time I come here no matter what time it is you guys are CLOSED!!! Worst businessman ever! PLUS YOU DON'TEVEN SELL HALF THE THINGS THAT YOUR SIGN SAYS YOU SELL! YOU GUYS ARE LIARS!

The staff and owner are really nice. The chicken is ok....last time I ordered it it was a bit bland and had no flavour and the chicken was a bit pink in the middle. The samosas are good but the girl who cooked them should have cooked them longer as they were cold in the middle. With proper training on how to cook the food it would be so much better. Inside the store is beautiful and much more cleaner than when it was Delton market. I will continue to come in and buy things.

I was asked to leave this review on UHUAL side as this was not a UHUAL business. However you are a authorized 3rd party neighborhood dealer and that does come with some responsibilities as per UHUAL website. also read the reviews on the link below. The lack of a response to this sums it up. Also if you have an employee who verifies my information, takes my payment on a UHUAL POS system, with keys in your desk to trucks, and trucks parked at your business. How is UHUAL not apart of your business? This review is for the UHAUL side of the business. Please avoid this location for picking up UHAUL trucks especially if they are over 10FT. I booked to pick up the 20ft truck from this location. The lady at the front desk was helpful and did the paperwork quickly and I have no issues with her service what so ever, even though we were rudely interrupted by a pushy Tabaco Rep who just walked around the register and started looking through the cabinets. she promptly told him to stop and call the manager, guy was very rude and interrupted my pick up/paper work. The issues is with the lot in where the trucks are stored/parked. Its clear management is giving no clear instruction to returning UHAUL customers on how the trucks are parked or how they should be parked. My truck is marked with a blue X. I am blocked off by a car towing hitch which I had to move by hand, This weighed easily over 100LB imagine an elderly person left to do this. The other blue squares are other 15-10FT trucks parked very incorrectly with one outside the fence blocking the street. I had to move this street parked one, while moving the car trailer and then moving my own 20ft truck. The other truck is park side ways with no care for future trucks. All these trucks were parked with noses facing the wall, another safety issue. I would have asked for help but you only had one employee working Feb 19 2021 at 1130AM SEE ATTACHED image- The lot is now closed off with a wood fence that has swinging gate. green there is a large dumpster at the mouth aswell Please do not pick up any UHAUL trucks here. I parked my truck upon returning to the side of the road because this lot is unsafe and asking for your rental to be damaged.

Had a great coffee .Cool place with new setup.Loved the new owner and the staff. Will be back for more.

SO GOOD WE HAVE A PLACE TO GO FOR A TIME OF EMERGENCY LIKE COVID 19 HAPPENING TODAY...STAFF TRY TO ACCOMMODATE ALL NEEDS NECESSARY...I KNEW THIS STORE FROM DELTON MARKET AND TO TELL THE TRUTH IT LOOKS A LOT WAY BETTER THEN IT USED TO BE......IF THERE IS ANYTHING U NEED ON DAILY BASIS...I CAN GUARANTEE THAT THEY WILL HAVE IT ON YOUR NEXT VISIT...

Bright ambience and amazing staff to talk.... Great place to go and grab food.... They have mouth watering chicken plus delicious indian food ... Really love the wave of the cafe.....The owner is very motivating and fun loving guy ... It's nice to have chats with him and the staff.

Good place and comfortable. Noise level fine. Food good. Service prompt and efficient. Price reasonable. Atmosphere pleasant. Good place to be with friends after work.
