We love going here for Thai food! The owners are super friendly and the wait staff are attentive. We usually get the Pad Thai, Fried Rice and the Basil Chicken! It has ample seating and it is very clean inside. The food is great and the atmosphere too! I would recommend trying this place!
First time dining here. Excellent service, reasonable price, but the food is a bit average. I ordered papaya salad, spicy fish cakes, and shrimp crackers. Still, I was a little disappointed by the size of the papaya salad because it had some lettuce on the bottom, so the actual papaya salad was only a little bit. The spicy fish cake was the best meal I ordered, and it was not spicy lol and very chewy. And the shrimp cracker is pretty average because it tastes a little cheap. Overall, the meal was average, but the price was reasonable, and every server was very kind and friendly. I will try other meals next time.
Try this restaurant!!! Great service from the owner. This restaurant serves many Thai and Vietnamese dishes ex. noodles, sticky rice, curry, crispy spring rolls. Thanks for a great meal and will bring friends out to try your place.
We got takeout from here, a large variety of Thai and Vietnamese dishes We got pad Thai, drunken noodles, and pho. The pho barely had any meat compared to my go-to spots, and they were stingy on the toppings. The broth just didn't hit the spot. Do not recommend. However, the other dishes were tasty. When we went to pick up there were no other customers, but they were busy for takeout. Would get other dishes instead of pho next time
Bamboo Legend used to be a good Thai spot 5 years ago but it has been going down hill steadily. I order Pad thai and drunken noodles for takeout this evening and it was barely edible. Both dishes were sticky and gooey and flavourless. Tasted as if it was reheated from yesterday’s leftovers! The chicken spring rolls were okay though. Stay clear.
Never had Tum Yum soup before but was told to try it and wow! So hot and fresh and I added a little spice to turn it up. I usually get their Avocado smoothies with a bit of a honey and they are amazing too. Great spot for lunch or take out. The young lady who served us is a sweetheart and made our day once again. Thank you Bamboo Legend, keep up the great work, I'll be back soon.
Dropped in for my break from work, sat down, got hooked up to the WiFi, downloaded the menu, everything looked so good, so took me sometime to choose. I ordered the Spicy Fish Cakes and the Chicken & Shrimp Curry Pad Thai. And it's was sooooo good! It's been more than 24 hours and still thinking about it. Plus the restaurant was nice and clean with soft music playing in the background. Definitely coming back with wife here
Didn't like the food at all. Soups were good but other than that every dish we ordered were too sweet. Not at all authentic Thai food. We entered at 7 and they closes at 9, server was rushing us as if she wanted to get us out ASAP. Don't waste your time and money.
We are huge fans of Chiang Mai Parklawn but have just moved into the area and were hoping to find a new favourite local spot. Much to our dismay, we were severely let down at the quality, authenticity and portion size in relation to the price. We got a selection of items pineapple fried rice, pad Thai, drunken noodle, garlic stir fry, masaman curry, panang curry and spicy basil stir fry. The curry’s were thin and watered down. The other sauces were sugary and fake tasting. Everything honestly tasted like it was made from one of those pre-made sauces you get at the grocery store. First and last time for me. Disappointing birthday dinner to say the least.
Service is slow and the food has a very strong smell of fish oil unlike other Thai restaurants.
