I miss the old Bakerbots! First time at their new location and their cake was dry. Second time, their selection was scanty; barely any tarts or cupcakes. Both times, their employees seemed unhappy and unwelcoming. It used to be worth the trip for tasty, moist, not overly sweet treats and I’m really sad that they moved even further away. I just hope they haven’t moved away from quality and good customer service too.
Such a pleasant bakery! my friend and I happened to walk by and stopped for a treat. She had the famous banana pudding, and I had a banana loaf. Both were delicious, and we wanted more! If only this spot had a location in Sauga.
I have been a long-time customer of Bakerbots and have always been impressed with the quality of their baked goods and customer service at their old location. Everything was always fresh, moist and oozed quality. Also, the service was constantly incredible, the associates would always be smiling, welcoming and joyful. What happened?… This new location appeared to have drained the life and taste of everything in it. For the first time in many, many, many years the cake I always ordered was stale, dry and tasted like it was preserved since Bakerbots moved from their original location. Lastly, the associates appeared depressed and genuinely didn't want to be there, understandably it is Dufferin St.nnMy cake…..
tried the pecan tart and sour cherry tart - both rather good, but i wouldn't say very memorable. it can be hard to hear the employees and to have them hear you over the display case. there is some seating inside but not much, so i left quickly. the location is kind of random and out of the way. it's good but i wouldn't come to this area specifically to pick something up from this bakery.
Came here with friends yesterday and had a great time admiring the beautiful selection of wonderful treats! So stunning. There was a line out the door! I picked up a lovely lemon tart and an amazing Rye brownie. So reccomend this spot for something special or to grab a nice ice Cafe when in the neighborhood. Can't wait to come back and try the pb rice crispies
