Bad Apple Vegan Restaurant & Bar

Loved the vegan-90s-kid feel about this place. From a pinball game to chandeliers, this place felt like safe-judgment free place to eat my complex feelings. You could play video games at the bar eating waffle fries and drinking decent beer too if that's more your style... The food was, everything you wished for comfort-wise with great flavor. I wanted to try one of everything! If you didn't tell people it was vegan, and asked them to try something, they would undoubtedly find something delicious to eat here. Can't wait to bring my unsuspecting, vegan-phobe friends here on the regular.

Great vegan food and perfect hospitality by Phill. We had BA burger and hot& spicy burger , both were delicious and hot fries. Love the house beer. Only Cleanliness is slightly compromised specially when u have a view to the kitchen and washroom needs to serviced regularly to maintain hygiene.

Just OMG, if nobody tells you that it’s vegan you wouldn’t notice, juicy burger with great amount of awesome a fries. And the brunch got me again, very nice pancakes full of flavor. I forgot to mention, best playlist in town if you are an elder emo or an elder core kid, they jut got me.

So good...the waffle fries are so crisp and spiced to perfection. The cauliflower wings are also so crisp and delicious Edit: I haven't been able to stop thinking about the waffle fries since I've been here

The service was excellent and I liked the atmosphere. The cauliflower wings were very good as was the poutine. Good drink deals most of the week. A large number of items on the menu are labeled spicy if that's important to you. Prices were a little more than what I expected.

Really good vegan pub food. The atmosphere was pretty cool, will definitely go back.

An improvement of the whatsup hotdog format. The food was spectacular and all vegan. We had the nachos and guac, poutine, cauli wings. The staff were cool and the ambience was fun. They gave us some complimentary cornbread cupcakes. They were playing movies in the background. I went with 3 vegan friends. Very impressed.

Love the new menu! They have a very good variety of appetizers and mains and good drinks. Their happy hour and daily specials have really good deals and honestly everything I’ve had so far has been delicious. P.S. you gotta try the kale salad. I’ve never wanted salad so much in my life since I tried theirs.

First time here since the name/owner change and it’s now completely Vegan. Fun atmosphere and super friendly and fast service. Food, portions and prices were great southern spicy sandwich with waffle fries, big baby burrito, kale ceaser salad. I’ll definitely be back!

Amazing Chili/Cheese dog, Impossible burger and nachos with a vegan beer. Service was great as well, and the portions were large. Will be my go to when getting off the ferry at Horseshoe Bay in my way to Burnaby, or before future concerts downtown/Pne, and pro sports.
