Baby Salsa Mexican Restaurant

I started to write a less then flattering review while we waited an extremely long time for our food. We watched groups the same size as ours that came in after us get their food, one even finished and left while we were still waiting. It was very frustrating. Having said this I must add that when our food did arrive it was plentiful and very good. Our server was very sorry for the mix up. Although we are still unsure of exactly what happened she apologized numerous times and comped our entire meal. In the end we walked away full and satisfied with the customer service provided.

Great food. Pathetic service (I spilled ice tea by accident had to wipe up my mess myself and they didn't even replace the serviettes I used to clean. They also didn't remove the soiled serviettes without prompting. When I asked for replacement serviettes they gave me two even though we had four guests there who helped me clean. So expect amazing food, but don't expect any service).

Good food, God awful service. Took them 15 mins to get me a refill on my warm water. Got tired of waiting the second time so I had to refill it myself in the bathroom. Never going to the restaurant again. Express is good though.

My Favorite restaurant in Nanaimo! The food is excellent, I love the gluten free and vegetarian options. And the servers are all great. Highly recommend!
