Azabu

Azabu is definitely the BEST Japanese restaurant I’ve ever been to in Toronto. After being disappointed by Miku Toronto I went to Azabu after shooting. The quality of the food is the best!! Especially the sashimi. So fresh!! You can actually feel it melted in your mouth. The 24k roll is their signature. With the uni, the taste is fabulous. The presentation of the dishes are just STUNNING. You’ll really enjoy having dinner here. It’s a 100% must-go

Just wow! Love the food quality here. Their Japanese fusion dishes are very unique and while some dishes seem to be a little pricier than it should be, the quality and taste makes up for it. Highly recommend the Uni Rice, Truffle crispy potato and the truffle Mac n Cheese. Their sashimi platter is great for sharing and again, I was blown away by the quality of it. Best izakaya/bar in uptown. If you had to go downtown for a nice bar, don’t need to anymore. Azabu will satisfy you. Super modern and nice ambience. Adequate noise level, you don’t have to yell at your friends to talk. Good music. All the ingredients are super fresh. The sashimi, unit toast, beef tongue steak, kimchi hamachi, all 10/10. They really don’t cheap out on their ingredients. The price is also very reasonable. Def recommend.

Azabu is definitely one of the best Japanese restaurants I have been to in Toronto. The sashimi is both chewy and delightful, hamachi and kimchi pairs a nice acidic taste with sashimi and beef tartare is great as well! We will definitely visit again soon!

Beautiful and tasty food, fresh sashimi and great service. The portion is not large so even two people can order a good variety of food, though I wish I had ordered two uni rice : Would definitely recommend this place for a romantic dinner.Recommended dishesUni Rice

This place is wonderful. I highly recommend stopping by if you are looking for quality food. You can tell that the food was prepared with care and precision. Must order Beef Tartere and Truffle Mac and Cheese. Service was excellent as well. Perfect date spot!Food: 5/5

The food was amazing. The presentation was gorgeous. But with the soft opening and the restaurant still working out it's kinks, we waited a good 45 min for the first item, and that was after following up multiple times with the server. Most of the party did not leave full. As expected since these are small plates. highly recommend the Would come back but hopefully to smoother operations

Had an amazing experience with this restaurant. I stumbled upon it due to one of my gfs posting about it so I decided to come with my bf making reservations a the day before. The moment I stepped in the restaurant, I already loved the vibe. It's completely lit up with led lights and has the feeling of a club vibe. Food wise we ordered the uni toast, udon, cream shrimp, assorted sashimi and truffle Mac n cheese. Everything was really good. The sashimi was fresh, uni toast was delicious, truffle Mac and cheese was sooo tasty and udon was perfect. I didn't have any complaints whatsoever on the food. Service was also really good and attentive as well.

Amazing food, beyond my expectation! Chef Taesik who created Nome Izakaya, created higher quality dining with little tapas. It was better experience than Alo where I tried at Holiday season. If there are more than five stars, I am willing to rank it. Service was perfect. Good paring with Sake. this is my third visit, will come back shortly for sure. Congratulation!

Came here back in December with 3 other friends for dinner, so happy to find a place of such good quality uptown and we don't have to travel all the way downtown for food like this! Steak Tartare Beef Tongue Uni Toast Truffle Mac & Cheese Uni Rice Salmon Wara Yaki Oysters Truffle Crispy Potato This entire meal was amazing but the stand outs were the Steak tartare, Oysters especially with all the toppings, smokey flavour of the melt in your mouth Salmon wara yaki, and the Crispy Potato!!
