Augustine's Bar & Bakery

Augustine's is a quaint neighborhood restaurant in a century (perhaps) old building with exposed brick walls and tin ceiling. The bar is of modest size, seating perhaps 12, leaving most of the place for dining couples and small groups. Plenty of beers on tap and in cans and bottles. Decent wine selection and a few house crafted cocktails. The menu is creative and should cover most diners needs. The lamb burger with a mixed green salad was spot on. A great first time visit.

Seriously the best restaurant experience we've had in a long time. The food was exceptional. My lamb burger was wonderful. Even better was our server, Jamie. He was so sweet and attentive and made our time there memorable. We were a tough table with a small kid and a lagging group and he handled everything beautifully. We will definitely be back.

Fun neighborhood restaurant and bar. I've had a lunch and breakfast there. Breakfast has a limited menu, but sufficient choices. Food has been tasty with attentive service. Not much parking, so likely will need to park on the street, which is free. Appear to have MANY beer choices.

Standard Twin Cities neighborhood eatery. Midwestern food staples Were decent, but nothing too memorable. Chicken wings were dry and pretty lackluster. Pizza was forgettable. Heavy food options. Food quality here is usually good but today's visit was really a miss at lunch. The chicken wings that are pre-baked were over-fried and super dry. They comped that menu item after we sent it back. Then, my fries were all over-fried and hard and not edible. They comped 25% of that item. The pulled chicken sandwich had super dry chicken and was on a 15¢ Cub Foods/food service hoagie roll - for a bakery I would have expected more to have home baked rolls made in-house. The spinach salad with salmon was super small, too. I know running a restaurant is tough but there is much room for improvement here. I hope Augustine's stays afloat!
