IndoChin Vietnamese Restaurant

I have loved the food at this restaurant for years!! But that was the previous owner. I called to place a take-out order and was informed of the new ownership. I was also told that they still have all of the recipes, to reassure me . They may have them, but they surely do not use them. I knew as soon as I opened the box. It wasn't even the same color! Not a single thing that I ordered tasted or appeared like it did previously. Now it just tastes like any other cheap take-out joint. Prepackaged sauces lacking in good flavor, yet full of salt and coagulant. Yuck. I morn the loss of my favorite St. Paul Vietnamese restaurant.

I concede that I often eat at this restaurant, but only because of lack of decent Asian restaurant nearby. The food is inexpensive yet the portion is small, and the ingredient few. I was surprised to discover they only gave about 3 meatballs in a bowl of pho (which were sliced into thin slices, to make it appear more?). The food taste is at best mediocre. The service is good. Except you live nearby, I would not recommend this restaurant. Go to other ones in Saint Paul, they are much better.

I've been coming here for a few years and it is never a disappointment. The food is always fresh, lots of flavor, and very pretty! Creative and good and one of those go-to places.

It was freezing in the restaurant but it was also January in Minnesota so it wasn’t a huge deal. The owner was nice and friendly and the food was DELICIOUS! So many vegan and veggie options at a great price!

Honestly this restaurant would have to be the worst. 1.) Vietnamese Papaya Salad? It tasted NOTHING like a Vietnamese Papaya Salad. They lady also said she’ll give me my own bowl of spiciness so that I can add it on to my own papaya but she completely forgot! 2.) I asked for a straw and never received one 3.) She also forgot to give out my Pho ingredients 4.) Slow service.
