Asian Legend

The best of the Asian Legend locations, in my opinion. Green beans are always on point. Haven’t ever had anything bad here - casseroles, fish dishes, and soup all good. They also have a quite good red bean egg white puff dessert. The restaurant is clean (and so are the bathrooms) and the service is fine, prompt.

This is my favourite Asian Legend out of all their branches. This place is clean, spacious, comfortable and quiet. Food is not too oily or salty though I would like the beef pancakes to have less sauce. Servers were friendly.

Good multi unit Chinese cuisine restaurant for casual dining. Food is good and tasty but nothing to write home about. It is a nice one stop shop for a large variety of dishes, but kind of like a jack of all trades, expert at none. For every dish Asian Legend serves, there would be a specialty restaurant that does it better. On the bright side, when you just want to have some easy eats, this is a great place to be, and you can't really go wrong with any dish they serve here.

A favourite restaurant for the family, part of a chain of about 8 locations. We have eaten at the Thornhill, Don Mills and St. Catherine's restaurants and they are pretty consistent. They have many northern Chinese dishes including fried dough sticks and sesame biscuits. I especially like the beef roll and the onion pancake. Service is usually fast, but weekends are very busy and wait times of 20-30 minutes are possible. If you go there often, it's worth getting their VIP card.
