I recommend to browse the menu ahead of time to avoid getting overwhelmed by the large selection of items to choose from.nnThe service was fast and great. All of the entrees and desserts we ordered were delicious! However, the Taro Bubble Milk Tea wasn’t good. Portions they serve are huge! They do not have small sizes.nnThe washrooms were clean, which is highly appreciated. Parking was easy and it’s free, which is awesome.

The original location of Congee Queen became my gold standard for real Chinese food after my friend’s family introduced me to it back in grade five. Before that, my only experience was North American-style Chinese takeout—so Congee Queen completely blew my mind and set me on a lifelong journey to explore the depth and richness of Chinese cuisine.nnTruly, there’s no Queen I’d rather go to battle for than Congee Queen. Every time I’m in Toronto, it’s a must-stop for me.nnSome of my personal favourites:nnSmoked Salmon Fried Rice – so flavorful and perfectly balanced.nTurnip Patties – crispy on the outside, tender on the inside.nSeafood Super Bowl Congee – the ultimate comfort food.nRoast Pork – both varieties are incredible.nBeef and Vegetable Fried Noodles minus the mushrooms for me! – always hits the spot.nSingapore Vermicelli – bright and fragrant.nVanilla Custard Shrimp with Mango Salad – a delightful mix of sweet and savoury.nMilk Pudding – smooth, light, and the perfect end to a meal.nnThe portions are generous, made for sharing, and consistently delicious. Their staff here helped my dad figure out the app ordering, which was a frustrating experience for him.nnCongee Queen is a Toronto institution for a reason—trust me, you’ll be hooked!

This is my favourite Congee Queen to go to because it’s very nice. The staff is friendly and though it’s a smaller restaurant, it’s definitely really nice and cozy. I prefer it over the bigger ones. I’ve really gotten to know the staff and I really feel welcomed to every single time I come in now.nThe food is good and although it takes a bit slower than the other places because they are bigger to get to you, the food quality is always greatnIf you’re looking for a nice cosy place to go, have dinner or lunch definitely check out this location. It’s super warm and at least in my experience.nAsk for my pictures there’s definitely more things that I’ve tried and haven’t gotten a picture of unfortunately but if that changes, I will definitely put it up in this review !

This is one of my favorite Chinese restaurants. Most of the dishes I’ve tried here are consistently good and full of flavor. The staff are friendly and provide attentive service, and the food usually comes out pretty quickly. The portion sizes are quite generous, making it a great place to share dishes with others. It’s a reliable spot for a casual meal with friends or family, and I always leave feeling satisfied. Highly recommended if you’re craving solid Chinese food at a reasonable price.

What an absolute gem of a place. The food is fantastic and the service is great. We ordered the General Tso, Crispy Cantonese Chow mein, Soup, Vegetable Fried Rice and cold tea. Everything was delicious and came out fast. Family style dishes so you know you will get plenty. Prices were great for the large portions you receive. Great place to eat.
