Artemano Ottawa

This is our first time purchasing at Artemano's and our experience has been exceptional so far. We've ordered a dining table and sideboard and can't wait to see them in our new home. Most of our dealings have been with Catherine who has been warm, friendly, very helpful and outstanding. Our brief encounters with others has also been very satisfying. We look forward to buying more pieces from Artemano in the future.

We were 15 minutes in the store and not one staff member acknowledged us. They saw us but would't make eye contact, wouldn't say "I'll be with you in just a moment". We ended up walking out. For the type of store this is, I would have accepted much better service.

My Mom ordered a new table from Artemano before she moved into her new place. When she got to the new place she realized it wouldn't fit. They wouldn't refund her even though the table wasn't even built yet and hadn't yet left the store. I have never heard of a company that won't refund someone for a product they haven't even taken yet. I will NEVER shop here and I like to let everyone I know about this experience so they can beware!

This is what customer service should be. Catherine our salesperson was attentive without being overwhelming, funny, and absolutely charming. She moved furniture around for us to see pieces next to each other. We walked in to browse, walked out with a couch and two chairs. I haven't experienced customer service this good in a long time.

So I bought a dining table and matching bench from Artemano about 6 months ago. Last week I hosted a poker game and someone managed to scratch the hell out of the bench with they keys in his back pocket. So I called Artemano to see what their repair cost would be. Instead of giving me a quote, they actually offered to swap the bench out for another matching one that they had in stock, for free. Without my asking. In my books, this is excellent customer service.
